Do you want a quiet cottage holiday by beautiful Lauvsjøen? We have a lovely cabin that we unfortunately do not get to use as much as we would like – therefore we like to rent it out when we are not using it ourselves! The cabin is located in a peaceful and undisturbed area, completely for yourself, with a road all the way up (toll road). Here you have nature right outside the door – perfect hiking areas and great fishing opportunities. Fishing licenses are purchased online. Whether you want to fish, hike, or just completely relax in quiet surroundings – everything is set here.

Cabin with small beach, rowboat and canoe

Cabin with simple standard close to Murusjøen. The cabin is about 7 km from Gaddede. The rent includes free use of gas and wood, as well as use of canoe, rowboat and tricycle. Life jackets in most sizes can be found in the storage room. Murusjøen is a popular fishing lake, among other things, canadar island, trout, grayling, pike and char in the water. There are 4 duvets and 4 pillows in the cabin. The cabin has no running water or electricity. Drinking water is collected in the lake. There are no bed linens and towels, so these must be brought.

House in beautiful Laxviken in Jämtland, 80 km northwest of Östersund. The house is on a small farm with grazing cows around the corner. In the summer, you can swim in crystal clear water at the swimming jetty just near the house, or take a nice walk along the lake. Proximity to excellent fishing waters, mountains, berry and mushroom forests. In the neighboring village of Laxsjö, there is a grocery store that is praised for its nice service and selection. Get away from the hectic everyday life and live under the stars. Swim in the pond, fish in the river or lake, hike in untouched nature or just relax in silence without neighbors. Here you can be on your own and disconnect. We do not have electricity at the mountain farm, but we have gas heating for water and a gas stove in the kitchen. In winter there is no road to the cabin, but we can transport you in with a snowmobile. Feel free to ask us before you book. Water in sanitary facilities and hot tub is shut off in winter.

Peaceful campsite by the river with its own dock

Something happens to us when we take the time to just be. Living a somewhat simple life for a while without having to give up all the comforts, for that matter. Letting go of everyday worries, putting your phone away, and allowing yourself to be enchanted by your surroundings. Lighting a fire, canoeing, looking out over the water's edge from the edge of the bed as even the beaver can swim by sometimes, boil coffee and cook over an open fire. The bed will be made up when you arrive. A warm welcome!

Lake side log house - comfort surrounded by nature

Our modern log house is situated right on a lakeshore. The open-concept design with lots of wood and light creates a warm, friendly atmosphere. On 85m2 you'll find panoramic windows with a fantastic view on the lake, a soap stone fireplace, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Enjoy fishing, paddling, swimming, hiking and x-country skiing right in front of your doorstep! Our neighbouring little farm with our kids, three sled dogs, three cats, a garden and chickens can induce a farm holiday experience.
