Charming apartment in Bellagio, just a step from the centre. From the principal balcony you have a stunning view of the lake and of the famous Villa Serbelloni. The apartment is on two floors: on the first one there is the living room, a bathroom, the kitchen and also a chimney; on the second one there is a bathroom and a big bedroom with a double bed and two single ones. The perfect location to relax and drink some wine admiring the peace of the lake. You will never want to leave this place.

Lake Como apartment in historic villa

The apartment occupies the ground floor of a grand villa built in 1903. It was renovated in 2022-23 and retains many period features. Guests have access to a large communal garden with views of the lake and mountains. The villa is located in Somana village, part of the Lake Como town of Mandello del Lario. Somana is popular with hikers as walks lead directly from the village. Mandello is less “discovered” compared to other lake towns and has a beach, bars, restaurants and ferry services.

You'll be catapulted into another era! Wooden beams, a huge fireplace, stone walls and antiques... make the studio suggestive and atmospheric. It is suitable for 1-2 people. It is equipped with a basic kitchen with a fridge, dishwasher and electric stove. The bathroom is essential but equipped with a comfortable shower. The large stone walls make it a very cool environment in the hot summer months.

Donata is a wonderfull host, communication with her was on a very good level and she greeted us and on the day of check in. The apartment was very clean, the towels were fresh and it had everything we would need on our stay. The view was breathtaking!!! The terrace is just a cherry on top, eating and chilling there was very nice. Mandello del Lario is very beautiful and peacefull. We 100% recommend.

We had a lovely week in Mandello. The place is simple and beautiful, everything you need. We didn't like it quite as much at the lake, but in the mountains you can go hiking wonderfully, right from the front door.
