On the property there are chickens, cats and a few ducks that move freely. The house is fine for 2 people but can accommodate 3. If you are a couple with a child, the home can also accommodate this. It is possible to get another bed in the loft by appointment. TV with apps. Kitchen and bathroom from 2023. The house is located 100 meters from the bakery, supermarket and pharmacy. Bus connection to Aarhus outside the door. Easy access to E45 as well as Herning motorway. 5 min to Lyngbygaard golf and 5 min to Aarhus Aadal golf club.

At the same time, you are close to the beach/forest and city. Århus and Ebeltoft can be reached within 25 minutes, and Djurs Sommerland in 20 minutes. Kalø golf Club 1.5 km away, Rønde and the castle ruin 5 km.

The location of the home at Bassin 7 means that during your stay you are close to the harbor swimming pool, cafes, restaurants, shopping, etc. Take a walk along the promenade, take the fishing rod out on the pier, take a dip in the harbor pool, see the view from the Lighthouse (142 m) or eat at one of the many new restaurants and cafes in the nearby area. The exciting and varied city life pleases most people.

The old barn has been recently renovated, the exposed beams and lattice windows show the history of the house. There is walking distance to Feldballe and the eco-village Friland. You can hike towards Mols mountains or quickly be in Ebeltoft, the beach, Djurs summerland or Ree Park by car. The home is ideal for 2-4 people, but extra can sleep in the loft. There is NO TV or WiFi.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
