Gorgeous 3-bedroom cottage near Stonehenge

Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Stonehenge World Heritage Site, just 2 miles from Amesbury, 6 miles from Salisbury, and you can walk to Stonehenge! There is underfloor heating throughout the property, and each bedroom has lockable doors with dedicated en-suites & rainfall showers. There is ample off-road parking in our driveway, a separate guest entrance to the cottage, and a communal guest dining room for breakfast. There is a wonderful, local pub a mile down the road & others close by.

No4, Railway Cottage was originally home to the local railway workers and now offers cosy comfortable accommodation, with lovely views across open fields and a wonderful private, sunny garden for lazy afternoons and al fresco dining. The garden is a particular attraction, providing various areas for relaxing, including a small fruit orchard, part of which is kept as a wildflower meadow. The cottage is primarily set up for 4 guests but possible to sleep 6 by using sofa-bed in dining room.

Our cottage is just inside the New Forest national park in a quiet, rural location easy to access from the M27 or the A36, and a 10-minute stroll to Paultons Park. Private parking and a spacious garden. There are many places to visit locally and some lovely walks nearby in the New Forest. The easy access to main roads means Southampton is only 20 minutes away, Winchester 25 minutes, Salisbury 25 minutes and the sandy beaches of Bournemouth only a 30-minute drive.

Once the village brewery, our beautiful centrally heated cottage is the perfect base to explore the New Forest and the Solent. If you fancy a day at home you can just laze in the garden. Like to cook? The kitchen has everything you'll need. And the cosy living room has a log stove for those chilly autumn evenings. It's just four miles to Romsey for a choice of supermarkets and shops. And we're on site to sort out any problems.
