The cabin was built in 2023 and is located in the middle of the Sunnmørsalpen mountains, with hiking and biking terrain right outside the door and the fjords a short drive away. There is a disc golf course and ball pit nearby, a gondola with a café on Strandafjellet that is open in the summer, and Geiranger, Trollstigen and Valldal are within an hour's drive. In short: a comfortable base for active summer days, whether you want to climb peaks or just slow down with a view of the mountains. And if you come in the winter, you can go straight out on skis.

Guests can borrow, among other things, fishing rods, berry pickers, games, and books. Large dining tables inside and outside provide flexibility for meals. Spacious cabin with great views and hiking terrain right outside the door. The cabin is located near the ski resort (ski in/ski out) and nice prepared cross-country trails and floodlit trails are just nearby. The area also has great hiking opportunities on foot. Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice mountain trips in summer and winter. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Geiranger and Ålesund. In the summer you can also fish in Nysætervatnet (must buy a fishing license).
