The city center of Heiligenstadt can also be reached in 5 minutes by car (or 30 minutes on foot via bicycle or rural paths). Cyclists will get their money's worth on the Leine-Heide cycle path, as it is about 800 m away. To escape the stress of everyday life and recharge your batteries, our surroundings are wonderful :)

On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for each 4 persons, with kitchen-living room, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 square meters each. We are situated in the Südeichsfeld, a plush hilly low mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, a visit to the bear park Worbis or excursions to nearby half-timbered cities are popular excursion destinations.

In a perfect location for day trips to the Documentary City of Kassel, the Harz National Park or the Meißner Nature Park - located in the border triangle of Lower Saxony, Hesse and Thuringia.

Vacation home on the Schierbach

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. The 75 m² holiday home is located in beautiful Eichsfeld and is a perfect starting point for hikes & bike rides. Nearby you will find the Hasenwinkel Nature Reserve (about 1 km) and the Green Belt (formerly the inner-German border). 2 bikes and a children's bike (12") can be used. A space for bicycles, strollers, etc. as well as a charging option for electric cars are provided.

Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on our property. Next to the house is the bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist!

Welcome to Reckershausen! I am pleased to introduce you to our cozy apartment, which is located in a picturesque location near the border triangle of Lower Saxony, Thuringia and Hesse. The transport connection is excellent, the A38 and A7 highways are within easy reach. Friedland train station is only about 5 km away. For cycling enthusiasts, the Leine-Heide cycle path passes directly by our village. Secure bicycle parking is available.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

Welcome to our lovingly furnished apartment in a rural area. Come to relax in the countryside in the beautiful village of Arenshausen. The edge of the forest is only about 100 meters away and invites you to take long walks. Furthermore, we often have various animals on the farm or the adjacent pasture that can be made acquainted with. Also a train station, a bakery and a supermarket are only a few minutes' walk away.

The guest house is located in the old town of Heilbad Heiligenstadt, in a half-timbered house lovingly renovated with traditional building materials from 2015 to 2020. The apartment is modern and equipped with everything you need - and more. This includes a complete kitchen, a washer-dryer, and decent Wi-Fi. Within walking distance are the spa park, shopping, medical facilities, city bus stop and also many sights.
