18th century building in the centre of Knaresborough, private access, check-in after 1500hrs, check-out before 1100hrs. Fully equipped kitchen, walk in shower, UK king sized bed, wifi, 40inch smart TV. Access is at street level. 2-minute walk to the bus and railway station, situated off the market square by the castle. No private parking, 20m past property on left to park to unload as street is narrow. Car parks are very close to the property. Not suitable to host infants, children or pets.

The Annexe is located in the pretty village of Great Ouseburn, 10 minutes from the market town of Boroughbridge and a 30 minute drive from both Harrogate and York. The Annexe offers excellent value for money. Comfortable, cosy and well equipped accommodation, everything you need for a relaxing stay for a couple of days or longer. Although it is linked to my home, It is self contained with its own entrance, giving guests their freedom and privacy.

Carolyn was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. She went the extra mile to make sure my daughters and I were comfortable during our stay. We particularly liked the conservatory area where we could look out at a beautiful, peaceful view and enjoy all the nature.

This little cottage is perfect for a peaceful getaway with everything you need for a home from home. It is well appointed, with a very comfortable bed and beautiful garden which is perfect to relax in or let your dogs play. Our spaniel loved it! Really easy to find and Gillie makes the check in process totally stress free. We stayed for a couple of nights while visiting friends in Harrogate which is less than 10 miles away. It’s well placed for exploring North Yorkshire with only a matter of minutes to the A1. There are plenty of lovely walks and runs close by so you can just stay and enjoy the scenery if you don’t want to travel far. Would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

A wonderful weekend spent in cosy Sunnyside, a cottage that has been fabulously refurbished, thoughtfully designed and fabulously presented. Everything was spotlessly clean and oozed good quality. Hampsthwaite was perfectly located for exploring the area, and is a quaint, peaceful village with a welcoming pub just up the road (Joiners Arms). Emily, our host, was very accommodating and great to respond to any queries. We would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to others.

Absolutely loved our visit to Boroughbridge and the Bank House could not have been any better for our stay. Wonderfully clean and decorated with all the home comforts you could possibly need. All the furnishings and amenities were a high spec and very comfortable. The location, communication, parking, basically everything was just what we wanted. Lovely places to eat and drink right on the doorstep as well. I am sure we will be back, and I would certainly recommend to others.
