Blackwood Cottage is very special. It met all our families needs by providing all the amenities that we needed. It’s location with beautiful gardens to explore and wildlife saying hello at night. The wood fire stove was a treat as we don’t t get to light one up at home. Thank you Blackwood cottage, for being our home away from home.

My 3 children and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glenys’ place, the location right on the picturesque crayfish creek/the lovely view from the deck made it a winner in itself, but the whole experience at ‘the Bach’ was a lovely one. The house is comfortable, warm and clean, the host communicated well and was responsive and helpful when I queried about local walking tracks/swimming, bread and milk (and pantry staples etc) were provided which was appreciated, we liked it so much we ended up staying a night longer than planned. The Bach is a great place to base yourself/there is so much within an hours drive or less to explore. Thank you for having us!

Beautiful apartment, in a quiet area. Beautiful terrace with picnic table and large garden in front. very nice also the vegetable garden. the lady very sweet and helpful, she offered us vegetables from her garden and recommended places to go in the city. Overall great place.
