Vacation rentals with breakfast in Rockingham County

The bed was super cozy, the host was responsive and friendly, and the cats were adorable! I had a nice evening with the host chilling with the cats (and petting and playing with them) while watching TV, and when I stepped out for dinner I found a great place following her recommendations. The breakfast was great! The French toast was delicious, and the timing was perfect - made fresh shortly after I came downstairs, close to the time we’d discussed the day before. Check-in and check-out were simple too.

Doug and Karen were fantastic hosts. The farmhouse was warm and cozy.. quintessential New England. The room was inviting with attached bathroom, sitting area and a comfortable bed. Karen made a wonderful breakfast and we enjoyed their company talking about the historic farmhouse, skiing, local history and family. We hope to have an opportunity to stay again soon!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Anne's place! The accommodations were lovely, and the view of the water from our room was serene. The location is superb - it was very easy to walk to downtown Portsmouth and all the shops and restaurants. Anne's home is in a beautiful, very quiet neighborhood and Anne is super friendly, very responsive and just makes you feel "oh so comfortable" and "at ease" in her home. We were delighted with her generous hospitality. Her dog is adorable too! :) We only wished we could have stayed longer - we love the Portsmouth area and all there is to do. As lodging goes these days, Portsmouth is pretty expensive, and we feel Anne offers excellent accommodations at a very fair, affordable rate. We highly recommend you stay at Anne's!! Tracey was a phenomenal host for the week of my stay. Her house is clean, has all the amenities you need, and as a host she made me feel comfortable right away. This location is central to so much of Maine and New Hampshire that your possibilities are endless. And the house itself is so unique that it totally blows away any hotel. Cannot recommend this place more!!

This last minute find was perfect for my 3 nights in Newburyport. It checked my most important boxes; convenient ( walkable to shops, restaurants, harbor, etc.) clean, quiet and I felt safe being a solo traveler. My host was very kind, welcoming and accommodating. If you are lucky enough to travel to Newburyport and stay here, you are lucky enough!!!

This is a great location—very close to a great beach, quiet and friendly neighborhood. The living space was larger than what I expected from the pictures. Great patios and cozy indoor space. The kitchen has plenty of plates, pots and pans etc for making meals. Nice!

Pam's house was very comfortable. Guests have the upstairs to themselves. The property is large with lots of trees and a beautiful garden, the perfect place to unwind after a long day. The neighborhood is charming and very safe, I went running every day without any issues. Downtown Portsmouth and Kittery are less than 10 minutes away each. I enjoyed Pam's house and her company!

We had a great experience staying at Angelo’s loft! It is so comfortable and had all the amenities we could want. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is spacious and very well equipped, featuring a large window overlooking the ocean. The outdoor deck is spacious with the same views. Angelo is a very responsive and thoughtful host. We will definitely be returning this summer!

Claudie and Greg were gracious hosts! They made it very easy from start to finish. The area is so quaint with a lot of local places to eat and shop at. There are beautiful walking trails and so much more!

Great place to stay. The room was beautiful, breakfast was delicious. We really appreciated all the teas on offers. We also learned the place hosts murder mystery parties. We will be back to try them!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Beaconlight.. we were sad to leave! Marsha is wonderful and a large reason the stay was so seamless and enjoyable. She was incredibly flexible with check-in, was fun to chat with and had great recommendations. Definitely book this place! We can’t wait for our next visit.

Lovely home, great location and friendly and helpful host. Felt more like a "hosted B&B or inn" rather than the more common experience I've had with Air B&B of the host being available but not a visible presence. If you are looking for a private, nonengaging experience, this might not be for you. However, if you enjoy meeting your host, we found Bob to be warm and cheery and he made us a lovely breakfast with excellent coffee. Rosy was away so we did not meet her, however, her decorating talents were much on display from the tableware to the linens and accoutrements, all of which made us feel like we were special guests.

Christophers place was perfect for our stay! Comfortable and cozy. They were responsive and helpful. There were drinks and snacks out and a delicious breakfast! It was such a cool place!!

Peaceful and beautiful place to visit

Stayed here with my daughter from Memorial Day weekend. It was comfortable, cozy, welcoming, and just overall wonderful. Daily breakfasts and overall New England charm. Walking distance to town, so perfect.

We loved our stay at the Compass Rose. We didn’t really interact or communicate with Christopher, but rather with the Innkeeper, Kim Carrasco. Our review is based on her interactions and response. She was welcoming and wonderful and easily reachable. Earlier that day, we were offered a different larger room that was available, so that was thoughtful and generous. The rooms were clean and quiet. We have a four-year-old and Kim was sweet and playful with him. Breakfast was delicious and homemade. We loved the location and enjoyed the company of the other guest. We would stay here again!

This was a last minute booking (the day before!) because it was too hot to go camping like we had planned. The response was immediate and even though we were passed check-in time, Chris had left us a note with all the information we needed and was quick to contact us when we weren't sure what to do. My husband and I were charmed by this place from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. It's historic atmosphere mixed with an aspect of luxury made us feel like we had stepped back in time and were high class. The sheets/mattress/pillows are especially comfortable. The room we were in (The Currier Room) was gorgeously decorated and spacious. Window seats and a small enclosed balcony were perfect for having morning coffee in and enjoying some fresh Massachusetts air. Breakfast in their sun room was the perfect was to start the next leg of our journey.
