Nestled along the banks of the Rock River under tall oaks, ye ol cabin was built by early settlers in 1907. Legit rustic charm. Secluded yet only 10 mins from the fun town of Oregon. 100 acres of private property, bordering Lowden-Miller State Forest. Includes use of canoes/kayaks, large riverfront yard, grills, hammocks, deck, porch and firewood. $33/night per person or pet after first 2 people. Message Tim about accomodating larger groups and events. Closed for winter November through March.

Whispering Pine is home to the original home that was built here in the 1940’s. The remodeled inside has two bedrooms. Our cabins have full kitchens, stocked with china, silverware, pots & pans. The backyard sits high on a bluff overlooking Pine Creek. There is private lawn furniture, a fire ring & grill outside. If you find yourself inside you can cuddle near the gas fireplace or watch tv. The cabin is also equipped with wifi. You are sure to leave Pine Creek feeling relaxed & refreshed.

The cabin has a view of the peaceful Rock River. Very relaxing & cozy. Minutes from Castle Rock State Park. Enjoy canoeing, fishing, & hiking trails. Knotty Pine Cabin, sister to Porcupine Cabin, has a large entertaining space, perfect for getting everyone around our large dining room table for a group meal. The full kitchen is equipped with all you need to prepare and serve a great dinner. After dinner step outside and enjoy sitting around the fire making smores. In the backyard there is private lawn furniture, a fire ring and grill. Enjoy the large grassy common area for lawn games, relaxing or even a game of flag football.

Cobblestone Cabin: Pine Creek Escape

Cobblestone Cabin is the newest cabin offered by Pine Creek Escape. It offers 2 small bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There is a kitchenette with a refrigerator, air fryer and microwave. We also have a gas grill on the patio. This cabin has a beautiful outdoor space facing a quiet revene. For the 2024 season, we will occupy an office space below the unit that is accessed from its own private entrance. Our staff mostly works from home but we do use this space from time to time.
