Just about as good as it gets! In a beautiful garden setting with lily ponds. The garden room has its own kitchen and everything you could need is provided. The bed is comfortable and the unit is superclean. No TV but take a book and watch the butterflies on the buddlea instead.

All the staff were extremely friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. Shower was good. Restaurant served a good variety of food. Would recommend without hesitation. Thank you for a nice stay.

My spouse and I had a great time at Kate's place. It was beautiful, like staying in an old country estate, just what we wanted! We were treated to breakfast and helpful tips of what to see in the area, it felt like a genuine B&B which is also what we were looking for! Thanks Kate!

What an amazing find, superb location, peaceful, classy and very comfortable. All the staff were very nice/helpful/friendly and the food couldn't have been better. Sadly no bath in our room but a great nights sleep on a gorgeous bed. Took a lovely country walk opposite the property and ended up going three miles round which was nice to explore the countryside.

Sonja’s BnB was perfect for what I wanted - just a single night stay to attend an event close by - and Sonja herself was helpful and polite and we had a lovely chat over breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful little B&B situated on the island, Victoria was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was particularly delicious (with plenty of options) and watching the ducks and chickens roaming the garden provided great entertainment! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

My pre-teen boys & I stayed one night with my mum for a quick half-term reunion. It was peaceful, and lovely that the boys could safely run around outside and see the donkeys. Margaret provided food for breakfast and five single beds for us. We really appreciated the fan overnight as it was pretty warm. It was all very easy and we had a good stay. The pub opposite was pleasant and we also got to see (and help) a canal boat go through Spellbrook Lock, much to the boys' enjoyment!

Lesley's home was very conveniently located near where our business meetings are as well as all the shops and restaurants that we needed on the 5 days we spent in Chelmsford. Her home is pristine and the room where we stayed is very restful. Lesley is a brilliant host, getting out of her way to provide us with one of the best service we've had in an AirBNB stay and we have been in quite a few. We would certainly love to come back next time we have events in the area. Thank you very much for hosting us, Lesley! We're praying you more success in your AirBNB business.

I was very happy with my stay at Nicolas - it was as described, clean and comfortable. Nicola was very friendly and helpful. I was familiar with the area and her place was a great location.

As always Clare went out of her way to make sure my stay was comfortable and easy .. the true definition of a “superhost” for sure .. ! If you want to be made to feel welcome and at home .. this is as close as it gets ..

We had such a wonderful stay at Ann’s place! She kindly accepted our booking at the very last minute, which we were incredibly grateful for. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel right at home—welcoming us with a lovely glass of wine. Her home was absolutely spotless, offering the perfect mix of comfort and privacy. We truly appreciated how respectful and attentive Ann was throughout our stay—always available if needed, but never intrusive. The setting was incredibly quiet, which made for a peaceful and restful night. And the breakfast she prepared for us in the morning? Absolutely divine. Highly recommend staying with Ann—she’s a thoughtful, gracious host and her place is a real gem!

Enjoyed a great stay in Deal with an old friend. Easy to find and right on the beach. Lovely view from the windows in the room of the sea. Spacious , clean, comfortable room with en suite bathroom. Tea, coffee making facility in the room which was welcome . Great fresh-cooked breakfast at a time of our choosing in the morning which set us up really well for the day. Deal is a small town of great charm which we thoroughly enjoyed and look forward to revisiting again some day. I'd recommend this b&b to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Deal.

Such a lovely peaceful spot in the countryside. we only stayed a night as we had a nearby wedding, but would happily stay longer. Breakfast was a lovely touch also. Highly recommended

I had such a lovely stay at Richards home. My space was large, 2 rooms. It was upstairs and next to a full bathroom which we shared. I was able to unwind and relax. His garden is stunning. I did the walk behind his home. I also rode my bike to Sodmarsh and was able to walk there. There are 2 pubs within a 10 minute walk. I was able to prepare food and cook and he cleared a shelf in his fridge for me. I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be sorry.

Excellent Host, very kind. She provided extra toys for our 1 year old. There is a huge extra "play" room with large tv, pooltable where we could enjoy some quality time with our family. The room was clean and cosy with it's own bathroom. I recommend it to everyone to stay here

Great environment, great host, great experience.

Celest welcomed us to her home and it was such a pleasant stay! Our room was clean. Linens were fresh. All amenities are provided. Breakfast was absolutely stellar with cheese board, toast, yogurt and other food we can't remember. View from the breakfast table was a cherry on top. Celest even went out of her way to lend us a walking guide book which we had followed. We were extremely happy with everything. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet holiday with a friendly host.
