We had a fun time at Chris’ lake house. It was very clean, quiet, and had all the amenities as described. Hot tub (with its private surround) was enjoyable during the winter temps. Ample kitchen supplies since there aren’t any restaurants around. Make sure to get groceries beforehand!

Fantastic location that was perfect to get away in the peace and quiet. Rachel was easy to contact and quick to respond and gave us some excellent recommendations for the area. Would definitely book here again.

Beautiful spot close to wineries but feels private and peaceful. We really enjoyed all that Afton had to offer.

This is the most thoughtful rental I’ve ever stayed in! Mary thought of everything and was so friendly and helpful. The Mill House is stunning! Rather than feeling like the house was furnished as an afterthought with items that didn’t sell at a yard sale, this house feels like staying where you’re a priority. The linens are luxurious, everything is spotless and tasteful, and even the toilet paper is top tier! We will absolutely be back.

We had a great stay. The property is beautiful and peaceful. They have done a great job making it a little piece of paradise! KT house was clean, cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The Pavilion and Redd's Pub was wonderful. Eddie was great and hung out with us for a bit at the pub for great conversation, laughter, and a few drinks! They go above and beyond what most hosts do in the Airbnb's we've stayed at. We highly recommend staying at KT house and hope we make it back there again sometime! Thanks so much for the great stay!

We had a great time at this cute little renovated ranch. It was very clean and fresh! They supplied fresh bread and coffee k-pods - nice touches! Good location for vineyards and hiking! We did ask for a late check out and they were not able to accommodate without a charge, that was disappointing, but they did disclose that ahead of time.

Our group loved this stay in Wintergreen! Extremely accessible to the slopes, with multiple amenities included within our airbnb. Plenty of room for everyone, and plenty of supplies from top to bottom - if you forgot something, chances are the house has it! However, we found that the hot tub was not clean prior to our stay, and the bathroom floor heat was unavailable. Overall though, very nice stay and would recommend to others!🙂

This place is nice. It is very quiet, private and peaceful. If you want a place to get away and relax, this is the place. We had a very enjoyable time and got in some hiking not too far away too.

The Hideaway Cottage – Where Even Your Cell Signal Gets Lost Tucked away between mountains we thought our gps was gas lighting us when it was saying “turn left” into a tree? I’m kidding it’s not that hard to find , the host provided very clear directions. Recommend arriving before nightfall. We drive a 25 foot sprinter and tow a trailer and crossing the bridge into the property is not for the faint of heart. But once there, you’ll love the privacy of this cottage and the comforting thought that no one can find you. Privacy? Check. Solitude? Double check. Wi-Fi? Absolutely not—thank God. If you’re looking to disconnect from the world, your inbox, and your mother-in-law’s group texts, this is your sanctuary. Our top highlight beyond the beauty of this property is seeing our dogs run unhinged, ears flopping drunk on freedom. Just the river, birds and the occasional panicked “ wait where did the dogs go?!” We loved it and will be back

What a great Airbnb stay at John's place! The cabin is right on the river and super cozy. The deck and the living room have gorgeous views of the river and hearing the water rushing right outside is so peaceful. Seeing the trains pass by was pretty cool. There is some train noise at night, but ultimately it isn't too bothersome. The value was amazing. You're less than five away from the southern border of New River Gorge National Park and its such a great base camp to explore the area and relax after a long day.

This was our third visit to this cottage. It is my favorite in the area. The cottage is very private , very clean , beautiful 1800 cottage well maintained and nicely decorated. The kitchen is large with everything you would need to cook a meal . It is located across the street from the river and has a bike path in front of the cottage. Many extras including a fire pit , bikes and kayak. We stayed here while our son was at Virginia Tech. It is an easy 45-50 min drive to campus.

Our second time staying at this property. Anita’s is a terrific host and the property is a joy to stay at. Very picturesque setting with birds singing.

Stayed here with a few coworkers while overnighting for a project site out this way. The space was wonderful, clean, and exactly what was described. We got there late and left early in the morning, but still loved seeing the horses right of the porch and how surprisingly spacious the space was! We will definitely be back and hopefully get to meet some of the dogs next time.

What a great place for our family to stay during W&L Graduation week! The location is beautiful and just a few minutes from downtown Lexington! We loved being right next to the tasting room to just walk over and grab a few of bottles of wine! I loved that my dogs were able to be a part of our mini-vacay. The gated back area was so convenient and perfect for our pups. I would recommend getting there during the daylight. The gravel road to the guest house is dark. Overall an amazing stay!

Felt right at home! Everything listed about the home was there and correct. We had so much fun and hope to visit again in the future!

This cottage is so magical! The area is amazing. Being able to walk right into town with all the shops, restaurants and bars is awesome. waking up and having coffee on the beautiful porch and listening to the birds sing is so relaxing and a great way to start the day. I said it last year, we'd be back and I know for sure we'll keep coming back and staying in the cottage. I am already looking forward to next year!!!

Edward’s place was a quiet sanctuary half way between Ohio and South Carolina for my family. It was so much easier to stay together as a family than in separate hotel rooms. The house is in a perfect location if traveling through the area. You can’t hear or see the interstate, but it’s only a 5 minute drive away.

Rebecca is a warm and welcoming host who made our stay in Lewisburg as good as it can be. Her cottage is vintagey and homey, with lots of nostalgia. I like to cook, and her kitchen was well equipped. The location is just minutes from Lewisburg and convenient to explore this historic, well-maintained town. She gives plenty of suggestions about activities, as she is active in town. We felt welcomed and thank her for her hospitality.

Great location, semi private but was very quiet. Nice decor and comfy furniture! will definitely be on the look out for our next trip down south. We had the chance to also check out the fire pit and had a nice little smores night! India and Chad were also very responsive and helpful! check in/check out was very clear and simple!

We have stayed at Trevor’s place three times now! It is clean and cozy and has everything you could possibly need for for a perfect visit to Blacksburg! We love the quiet location, the deck, the firepit. It was perfect for graduations, football games, and exploring all the area has to offer!!
