This mini 1 bedroom house was our trial run in building our main home using passive house principles. We are approx 1 km from the centre of Westbury in a rural location. (You may be lucky enough to sight some of our local wildlife during your stay! ) The cottage is suitable for a couple, however the extra single bed does enable some flexibility for guests.(i.e. if you wish to use both beds, please book for 3 people.) My place has a great view over the city in a quite and safe neighbourhood. It is close to the cataract gorge which is great for walks, coffee, restaurant, dinning, swimming and childrens play ground. It It is approximately 20 mins car drive from Launceston airport and 5 minutes into the centre of town. West Launceston is hilly so a car is recommended. The apartment, which is located under my private residents, provides a comfortable space with all home comforts peace, quite and privacy.
