Vacation rentals with breakfast in River Tamar

The property is very well located, in a quiet area, but just a short walk to a variety of food and restaurants. Well set out, the house is very welcoming and comfortable - there are three spacious bedrooms, a good size living area, a warm wood fire and a kitchen with everything you would need for a short or long stay. Off street parking is a bonus.

The host was warm, the house was nice and comfortable, and it was worth staying for a few days.

This was one of the most memorable Airbnb experiences I’ve had in Australia. From the moment we stepped into the home, we were blown away by the bright, open-plan design that perfectly reflects the Australian lifestyle. The spacious living room, dining area, and master bedroom are all framed by large floor-to-ceiling windows that open up to a serene view of sand dunes and the ocean – simply stunning. What made this stay extra special was the warm hospitality. It was the first time I’ve been personally welcomed by a host in Australia, and it made all the difference. We were greeted with a bottle of welcome champagne, handmade chocolates, freshly baked bread, eggs, milk, coffee, ice cream, and even beer – opening the fridge felt like arriving at a dear friend’s home, not just a rental.

My wife and I have made this great home our go to place when we come to Launceston. After repeat visits we know that everything will be beautifully set up, clean, peaceful and conveniently situated to the City. Maryann is a great host.

What a beautiful place Bridport is, the house is situated up the hill so quite a spectacular view with the bay windows. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything needed. Though it is close to nearby restaurants and the main street, not particularly a walking option for the older generation as it is uphill to get home.

Kaytlenn’s place was absolutely gorgeous and she is a fantastic host. it was a beautiful, private area that was so perfect for a weekend getaway. and Kaytlenn went to such lengths to make our stay as comfortable and luxurious as possible. could not recommend enough!

Jen’s place was lovely and truly wonderful! Communication was also very smooth and easy, and she was super responsive too. Can’t recommend this place enough!!

If it weren't for Rose's recommendation, we would have missed the cute platypus and echidna! Her house is very beautiful, very clean and tidy. Rose is very nice and she also prepared healthy and nutritious smoothies for us! This accommodation experience is simply amazing!

My best airbnb experience to date. Keryn and Andrew were the most incredible hosts. Communication was amazing and super flexible when our flight times were changed, not to mention the thoughtful extra bits and pieces that made our stay even easier. The accommodation was in an absolutely perfect location, walking distance to everything in town and right across the road from a beautiful park. Nice and quite and had everything you could possibly think of needing. Can't recommend this enough, super lucky to find it.

Amazing penthouse apartment! Two nights was not long enough to enjoy it all. Kate and Toby were amazing hosts and will definitely stay here again when in Launceston. Lots of extra little touches making it a great experience.

We absolutely loved our stay in Susan's home! The place was full of character, spotless clean and all the little extras and finishing touches were greatly appreciated! Beds were super comfortable and the surroundings were peaceful. We were welcome to explore the beautiful gardens and enjoyed a spectacular sunset. We will definitely return and stay longer next time. This was exactly what we’ve been searching for on our many trips to Launceston: comfortable, immaculately clean, central (we hardly used our hire car), with fantastic kitchen facilities. We have family in Launceston and it was lovely to be able to invite them over for a bowl of homemade soup and a board game in a beautiful space. The plants, decor, great wifi, board games and morning sun shining in across the park were add bonuses. We look forward to coming back soon.

Beautiful quiet location overlooking the Tamar River, yet close to everything. Felt like we had the place to ourselves. Lovely modern decor, spotless and everything we needed. Extensive continental breakfast supplied for our 2 night stay. Welcoming port and chocolates appreciated. Information booklet very helpful. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Launceston and its surrounds.

Sue's place is charismatic and fun. The house is in a great spot, and Sue was a fantastic host, who makes a great breakfast!

What a very special, gorgeous cottage to stay in. Julie and Gary have done everything meticulously as they have lovingly restored the stable. There are special little touches everywhere - beautiful linen on the comfortable bed, the fire laid ready to be lit, underfloor heating, warm towels, home made apricot jam and quince jelly along with sourdough bread, cheese and wine. The breakfast goodies in the fridge were yummy. Nothing has been overlooked. It was such a joy to walk in the garden and have Julie show us around. The cottage is in a great location to check out the Tamar Valley and local area. Communication leading up to our stay was really great. Thank you Julie and Gary for being such wonderful and welcoming hosts and for your kindness in letting us share your special cottage.

Eliza was very kind and friendly. The room was so clean pretty cosy and beautiful with overlooking the garden. Adorable welcoming doggies 🐕 Really loved my stay in this room.

Only a short Uber ride from the city restaurants and bars, our wine tour even picked us up at the door! So incredibly lucky to stay at such a stunning escape. Every detail of the place makes it so unique. Had a little welcome basket with local goodies, made me feel very welcomed. Everything was amazing !
