Easy to find, it’s a place that feels just like home. Wonderful to have breakfast in the lovely garden, it’s a real sun trap! Close to everything, easy to get to and with off-road parking, which is a rarity in the area. Comfortable, clean and with everything you need for a great break. Responsive and understanding host.

Beverly is an excellent host, very friendly and attentive to her guests' needs. The house is very conveniently located, just 15min walk from the City Centre, in a lively and interesting neighbourhood. Just 10mins from the train station and nice playground. The house is spacious and has a lot of character. Suited very well the needs of our family (three young kids). Beverly helpfully provided us with her spare bikes, what was extremely useful. Overall, highly recommended for longer stays and for families.

If I could give Emmanuel six stars, I would! I am so thankful he accepted my last minute booking. He is an outstanding host - his communication is flawless and he is friendly, generous, flexible and respectful. The loft itself is truly luxurious - beautifully designed and furnished, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. I felt like a princess in a tower! I genuinely wish I could have stayed longer. Wonderful house in great location to be able to walk to beach, restaurants, take away etc. easy walk to town centre. Hosts were very friendly and informative the house is very well kept, lots of space for six people and everything you need provided. Nice outdoor space and safe for families, two parking spaces is very handy, along with two bathrooms and a toilet downstairs. So lovely to be able to see the sea from the bedrooms and living room. We had a great stay and would recommend thank you so much!

Enjoyed my stay with Alex very much. He and his partner were kind, helpful and generous and it was a pleasure to get to know them. The room was comfortable and the breakfasts were healthy, tasty and filling. It would be particularly suited to vegans or anyone with an interest in raw food but also good for anyone looking for a great place to stay in Colchester.

I used the property whilst away working. It was ideal. Good space, clean, good facilities and close to good amenities. The bedroom is a good size, with work desk, there is a small lounge, separate bathroom and outside area. The owner is very friendly and the set-up means that you actually don't feel like you're in someone's house. Highly recommend.

Our stay was brilliant, Heike's home was warm, clean, with beautiful decor, and a lovely garden, and she'd given us some lovely extras such as wine, biscuits, doggy things, foil tins for our Christmas meal, and had put up Christmas decorations - it was all very thoughtful. And Heike was very responsive which was very much appreciated. The neighbourhood is quiet and river walks are a 5min drive away. We all had a lovely Christmas, thank you Heike!

A super apartment in a great location. Within 5mins walk of the town but in a quieter area with a supermarket, deli, pubs & restaurants, etc. Char had gone sbove and beyond to make sure the stay was pleasant. Thank you

We had a lovely stay, stylishly decorated, beautiful back garden, comfortable beds, well equipped throughout. We would be keen to stay again. A bottle of Prosecco and milk in fridge on arrival a lovely welcoming touch. Good communication. Easy to access via key box. Our 8 year old and 5 year loved the bunk beds and room. Digital tv with plenty of choices. Selection of board games. Location very close to train station. Great to have car parking on drive.

One of the most helpful and friendly Airbnb's we've stayed at. Separate sitting room is a bonus, especially as we were there on Monday, when none of the local pubs do food. Thanks a lot, Tess.

This was my second time staying at Kirsty's and it was wonderful once again! I love their home and they always make me feel welcome! I come into town for work and it is perfect for what I need. Clean bathroom and space, easy to get to work and very quiet neighborhood! Look forward to my future stays! Highly recommend!

Staying at Tim's house was truly special. From the moment he welcomed us into his beautifully decorated home we felt so comfortable. Our bedroom was just amazing with everything you could possibly need plus extras that were very much appreciated. Tim is a wonderful host and he treated us to the most spectacular breakfasts. Although the house is within easy walking distance of the town centre it was very quiet. We can't recommend Tim highly enough and we would love to come back.

I stayed at this house for work and had a fantastic experience. The location was excellent, making it easy to get around, and the home itself was beautifully decorated with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for cooking, which was a huge plus for an extended stay. It was the perfect place to feel comfortable and at home while I was working away in the area.

Super convenient, clean and quiet house very close to the town centre. Place is just as advertised and very cozy indeed. Pleasant garden to relax in and fully decked out kitchen if you choose to cook. Denise was very accommodating and had plenty of suggestions on what to do and where to go. On the way out, she even offered to drive me to the train station. Absolute first class :)

Krisztina's place is cosy and warm. Stayed for a few days with my family and a few kids and the kids loved the place. Check in was very easy and Krisztina gladly accomodated our request to check in early evening though she had guests checking out on the same day. I highly recommend this place.
