Beautiful cosy place to stay, with everything you may need plus a stunning view of Hobart, and if you're lucky you get to see Yellow-tailed black cockatoos just outside . Easy enough to commute (taxi , uber , hired card 10-15mim to Salamanca's Place in the city). Wendy and Harry were super kind . Amazing hosts!!!

Derwent River Cottage is everything you see on the listing. Absolutely beautiful home with the most amazing view over the Derwent river, the mountains and the lights of Hobart. Very comfortable with a beautiful fireplace and everything you could ask for. Hosting Hobart were amazing and very prompt at responding to all of our queries, even bringing us extra coffee pods and tea bags when we arrived. They communicated with us very well with a fast response time, were extremely polite and accommodating. We had the best time in Hobart and staying at Derwent Cottage was definitely one of the highlights. We would highly recommend this accommodation and Hosting Hobart and we look forward to staying there again in the future. Thank you so much Hosting Hobart and all your staff, we are truly grateful.

We stayed at Neil & Vonnie's place away from the main roads and up on the hill, but an easy drive from Hobart City. It was cosy but had everything we needed with nice little touches that included pantry and kitchen basics as well as bathroom toiletries. The fit out was fairly new and modern with all kitchen and bathroom and laundry amenities in good working order. Vonnie welcomed us on arrival and gave a comprehensive explanation of the ins and outs of the property. There was a nice big back yard with native wildlife visitors every now and then. Highly recommended, would stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay - the home was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The location was perfect- quiet, safe and just a short drive to the city. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hobart!
