Apartment vacation rentals in Riomaggiore

The area was super accessible and had a great view of the area! Was super close to the train station and easy to go from place to place. The Wifi was a bit spotty but other than that a great stay!

We absolutely LOVED our stay. To start, the hosts sent us an extremely detailed PDF for check-in including photos to help us find it. The apartment is about a 3-minute walk to the train station with minimal stairs which was so nice with all of our luggage. The apartment itself was clean and had a beautiful terrace which we enjoyed every evening. You’re right above the train tracks which we thought would be a bit loud but was not an issue at all. The air conditioning unit was amazing, within 10-15 minutes of turning it on the whole room was completely cooled and we had to turn it off. The hosts were so gracious and were flexible with our check-in which we really appreciated. Overall we couldn’t get over how ideal the location was and how cute the apartment was. We really hope to be back in Riomaggiore one day and would absolutely stay with Isabelle and Davide.

Davide’s place had incredible views of the town and landscape. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and spent a lot of time admiring the area from both balconies. Davide was very accommodating with check in and allowing us to leave our luggage as we arrived a little earlier than the stated check in time. By far one of our favorite places we have stayed and we hope to be back someday!

The location and views from the balcony are amazing. It’s a simple accommodation that had everything we needed to enjoy and explore the area. Host provided great insight about the area, restaurants and hikes. We would stay again!

Franco and Elisabetta's place was great! The instructions to find the place were very good as it can be confusing to locate around Riomaggiore. I especially appreciated that the place was accessible with a code so that I didn't have to worry about bringing a key around. The kitchen was well stocked and the terrace was a nice bonus. Highly recommended to stay here!

Fantastic place. It’s right in the middle of the marina in Riomaggiore, which is the best of the five towns (in my opinion) to stay in. It’s a very clean studio apartment, so don’t expect a huge place; but that’s not why you’d choose it. You’d stay here for the ridiculous view and ease of accessibility to Riomaggiore, the train station, and all the other towns. Virginia is great and extremely responsive. You’ll enjoy yourself.

Luca was so responsive for everything I needed. We checked in very late and our train was delayed but he still met us near the station to walk us to the apartment at midnight. The location is beautiful - just steps from the marina and great restaurants. The wifi can sometimes be a little spotty, but we weren’t at the BNB enough to care - we were always out and about. Highly recommend this place and Luca as a host!

Paola was so helpful and welcoming in the check in process with great recommendations. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. If you want to have the best experience of cinque terre and Riomaggiore you must stay here! And the view from the balcony is unreal!!!

Maurizio is one of the best hosts we have come across, kind, highly responsive and thoughtful. The apartment is much nicer than the pictures. It is well equipped and we enjoyed every minute of staying there. It is also very close to the hiking trail leading to Manorola and the beautiful dell'Amore pathway. Maurizio also gave us great recommendations for restaurants nearby. We highly recommend this lovely apartment and hope to visit again soon.

Great place, superb location, beautiful view from the balcony, close to the marina. To get to the apartment, you must use stairs in the following order: 22 up, 6 down, 20 down, & 6 down. Be cognizant of that if you’re traveling with luggage. However, the place is worth every step. Giuseppina met us at the train station & walked with us to the apartment. Upon arrival, she showed us the place & explained the amenities. There are two small refrigerators, one on each floor. There were cold water bottles in the fridge, snacks & a bottle of wine upon our arrival. The apartment was spotless. It’s a very beautiful place and we would highly recommend it.

We absolutely loved our stay in Riomaggiore! The apartment had the most incredible view! Watching the sunset over the colorful village and the sea was unforgettable. The location couldn’t have been more perfect — close to everything, but still peaceful and relaxing. It was the ideal home base for exploring the Cinque Terre. We would come back in a heartbeat!

This is a very clean, well situated apartment with a wonderful view. It’s located just next to the elevator for the Riomaggiore train station, and the host offers wonderful dinner suggestions in the neighborhood. It’s a fairly small apartment, but it has everything you might need as a couple.

We loved our stay at Manuela’s place! She is a fantastic host who gave clear directions including a welcoming tour of the property. She even met us at the train station and walked us to the apartment to make sure we didn’t get lost. Her recommendation to hire a porter for our luggage was spot on. Plus she was very responsive when we contacted her with questions often responding within a few minutes. And the bread she provided was a highlight!!

Irene's place was easy to check into. She was responsive and proactive with her messaging. The place was a university dorm room size with a bathroom, which served our purposes well. While it was somewhat expensive for the room, you're really paying for location. A great place to stay, especially if you're planning to be out-and-about for most of the days!

Andrea went above and beyond with his communications and helpful direction and support. The apartment is charming with a beautiful terrace! Right near the train station- noise was not really an issue. A bit tight for 4 adults. Would definitely stay again.

An amazing place to stay! Not only had a beautiful view but an amazing location to restaurants, cafes, the ocean, train and the ferry! We had a fantastic time :)

From Paolo and Rita’s house you would never know that Riomaggiore was busy and bustling. The apartment had everything you could possibly need. The two balconies have gorgeous views and we’re always breezy and cool. It is the perfect place to relax after exploring or hiking all day.

We stayed with Simone & Francesca for 9 days for our honeymoon, hiking, swimming, and exploring all of Cinque Terre. Simone was incredibly communicative, sending detailed instructions on how to get to Riomaggiore. He met us at the train station (in the rain!) & showed us to the apt. They stocked snacks, water, toiletries, and even gifted us a bottle of champagne in congratulations for our pregnancy. Mid way through they offered a cleaning, & restocked the water & snacks. Simone sent us recs of day trips we can take, was quick to respond to any questions we had, & even let us borrow their hiking poles! They are both truly the kindest, most caring, genuine people we’ve met. The apt is clean, updated, & incredibly comfortable. Location is right in the active part of town, easy to access restaurants, bars, shops, the ocean, & the train. If you like nightlife the bars are right outside. If you don’t, they have amazing sound resistant windows! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

The apartment with the big sunny terrace overlooking the ocean was picturesque and well equipped. We took a beach umbrella and provided beach towels to the rock beach. We lounged in comfortable chairs on the terrace. The sounds of ocean waves put us to sleep at night on a comfortable mattress and the light blocking shutters worked well with the bright sunrise. Like all of Riomaggiore, there are many stairs in this apartment.
