Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Rio de Janeiro

Such a clean and spacious place to stay for a week! Very walkable to almost everything you need in Rio. The beach is right out front, multiple restaurants within 2-3 mins of walking, and the grocery stores are right across the building. Quite honestly such a steal for the spot you’re getting! Never felt unsafe in our stay here and the doormen were always greeting us! Host was extremely responsive in a timely manner. The view from the balcony overlooking copacabana beach is also breathtaking! If you do have an earlier flight before check-in or a later flight after check-out, the doormen might not be comfortable keeping your luggages in storage which is not the host’s fault. It honestly depends on who is working at that time. Which I understand because we had a bunch of big luggages. The doorman working at the moment just wasn’t comfortable being responsible for that many personal belongings. There is a storage unit company just right across the street and we had no problems using it!

Belchior was dear to us from the first communication. The flat is charming in every detail, and even though we stayed for a short time we were able to feel at home. The location is great. We sure want to go back!

I had a great experience and enjoyed my time here. Easy instructions, friendly and helpful staff. Close enough to desired locations, but enough distance to not be bothered with too much noise. I would definitely book here again.

My experience in the apartment was very good! The place is super cozy, clean and well-maintained. Leonardo was very attentive, always available to help and left everything organized. The location is also great, easy to get to places. I recommend it for those who want a quiet accommodation.

We arrived very late the night of our check-in & Marillia being the great host she is she welcomed us and explained everything to us before leaving us be. She was very responsive & understanding when we messaged her in regards any complaints we had. We loved Rio but her hosting us made it 10x better as we loved our stay. The security at the front was very helpful as well. Thanks to all that made our stay worthwhile

I really enjoyed staying at this apartment. The location is great and the balcony has better views than those in the apartment's description! There are a bunch of restaurants and shops nearby.

Roberta's listing was everything and more. You are in a safe area with security holding down the front 24/7. The place is spacious and can accommodate your party comfortably. We had help keep our place tidy, which was wonderful considering we were all on vacation. Roberta was communicative and efficient with responding - sharing her local recommendations and truly made it feel like we had a friend in Rio. Views from every room, it was difficult to decide which one to select (considering I was the birthday celebrant!) I'm the type of traveler who likes being away from the city and enjoying more local areas. It is close to the city, however, be cautious that traffic will make getting to city attractions a bit much longer (but it is worth it)! All in all, the place is affordable and definitely worth it!

I spent two nights at Maria's residence and they were the two best nights I've had in the last few months. Sleeping, waking up and starting the day with a view like this absurdly improves a person's mood. Paz defines the place. I went with my girlfriend and we both loved the experience. I thank the two hosts very much for being willing to accommodate and understand our stay.

Our experience at Sam Río’s art deco mansion was wonderful. Everything was great from check-in, cleanliness, communication, outstanding location, and even some playboy posters make for an authentic rio feel inside of the beautiful art deco mansion. The balcony has breath taking views of the sunrise and sunset. We had a group of 8 guys, who all had plenty of room for themselves. This mansion is located near the favela’s but we never once felt unsafe and even got to walk through and explore the favela area, just be smart. Located right between Ipanema and Copacabana, we felt like we were located in the middle of everything. Short walks to the great beaches, shops, and restaurants. Overall, if your looking to get the authentic rio and cultural feel I highly recommend staying with Goitaca in this beautiful art deco mansion.

I had a great experience at this home! The house is very well located. The space perfectly corresponds to the description, being comfortable, well-equipped and very cozy. In addition, the host was extremely attentive and helpful throughout the stay, ensuring impeccable service. I highly recommend and, without a doubt, I will be staying here again!

It was a great stay! The house is very spacious and has a lot of natural light and tall ceilings for air to flow through which made it nice to relax in at all times. The rooms all have fans or ventilators as well. The area is perfect as you are right near the botanical gardens and close to the restaurants and bars in Leblon / Gávea. It is also only about a 15 minute walk to the beach. The added amenities such as a well equipped kitchen, washing machine and TV were very nice to have. Patrick was also very responsive and flexible. BEST HOST!!! We have collectively stayed in 100s of Airbnb’s and Marcos is by far the best host we’ve ever had. Anything you need Marcos is always on top of it. Incredibly kind and helpful guy! His space is amazing: spectacular view, quiet at night (fall asleep to the sound of the ocean), two routers with VERY fast wifi, ample space and comfortable beds. Right outside of the apartment is a walking/biking path that you can take for a short walk or bike to Leblon beach. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Rio!

Sergio's attention was very good both in the days before, providing us with information, and afterwards. The apartment is spacious, has all the amenities and was very clean. Excellent beach view, with amenities and security. We found it clean, complete and tidy. We recommend!

My stay was wonderful, too bad it was short. The location is perfect. The view is amazing and the apartment is super cozy and spacious. I felt at home! In addition, the condominium is super friendly, with clear information and good communication between employees. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures and larger than expected. It is very close to Olegario, which has exactly the best bars, restaurants and everything you need such as: market, bakery, gym… I really liked it and didn't even want to leave kkk I will definitely be back. The place is great and well located for those who need to stay in Barra.

The place is small but cozy with all the possible amenities to cook, bathe and sleep, despite being in a busy place you can't hear anything from outside, the concierges are super attentive to our arrivals and departures and very good vibes. It is located in a super central place 10 minutes from the Cinelandia subway on foot, which connects with many tourist attractions and close to many attractive places such as the Selaron steps and the Lapa arches on foot, in addition to the Lapa bars less than 1 block away, Uber arrives and leaves without problems and there is a 24-hour bakery, pharmacies and grocery stores very close. We loved the place and I 100% recommend staying there. Luiz was always attentive to our questions.

Olivia went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay - from getting a bathtub for our four month old to letting us check out later so we had a place to stay before the night flight. The apartment was great and location was perfection. We will definitely be back!
