In winter, the area is perfect for skiing holidays with both cross-country and alpine skiing. In summer, the mountain offers great hiking and cycling opportunities, swimming in Ljøsvatnet and fishing (fishing license). A perfect year-round place for active families.

At Natrudstilen you will also find a year-round, asphalted illuminated cross-country ski trail. In summer there are great hiking opportunities both on foot and by bike in the mountains. Bed linen, one large and one small towel can be rented for NOK 200 per person.

In the surrounding area, you will find excellent hiking opportunities in both summer and winter. It is also only about a 15-minute drive to Gjøvik.

The cabin is spacious, bright & airy with high ceilings, large windows & a 50 m2 terrace. Vidsyn is located in a remote location in Birkebeinerbakken. It is built on a slope, at the end of a dead end road & towards an open area. You can sled or strap on your cross-country skis at the cabin, & for alpine skiing you drive to Sjusjøen or Hafjell alpine center in only 10 & 30 min respectively.
