House vacation rentals in Ribeira Brava

We felt very relaxed and comfortable at Antonio’s lovely house and the garden and views were impressive. We appreciated the interesting features in the garden with its nature feel and enjoyed the pool and sauna which we thought was a real asset for the place. The house is interesting and cared about and Antionio was an excellent and helpful host. We were glad of the car we hired to access shops, restaurants, beach and walking areas as without one would be difficult but it suited us really well as 4 adults who wanted a base from which to explore Madeira.

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

Pedro war sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Er gab uns auch einige gute Tipps. Das einzige was wir ein bisschen kritisieren müssen, ist die Möblierung. Manche Möbelstücke sind schon in die Jahre gekommen. Diese gehören unserer Meinung nach mal ausgetauscht.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, pristine, peaceful home. Well equipped kitchen. Maria has thought of everything. The outside space was really great, plenty of space to enjoy the pool along with the outside kitchen BBQ. We walked to the botanical gardens which was 10 minutes away. Two small supermarkets and bakery 3 minutes walk from the house. We walked in Funchal several times and caught a taxi home. Lovely climate and beautiful surroundings.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le logement ! (famille de 6 personnes) Celui-ci est bien situé, une belle vue, endroit très paisible et privé. Il est très bien équipé, piscine chauffée (pour 30€/J), barbecue disponible, très spacieux et propre. Ce qui en fait un très bon rapport qualité-prix. On recommande !

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! The house is extremely clean and matches the pictures perfectly. We even had freshly stocked groceries when we arrived which was a huge plus after 3 long flights. This location is so close to many delicious restaurants and the beach. We absolutely loved the pool and sun bed. 10/10 recommend!!! We already want to plan another trip back 🩷 THANK YOU!

From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed by Fernando. The villa is situated in a beautiful and quiet location, offering amazing views and a lovely pool that's perfect for cooling down. You can really feel the warm hospitality of the host right away. During our stay, we had a small issue with the toaster, and Fernando replaced it immediately — a great example of his attentiveness and care. We had a peaceful and relaxing time, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway. Please note that the ascent to the house is quite steep, but this is completely normal given the island's topography — and the views are well worth it! Highly recommended. Alles perfekt! Agnieszka ist eine sehr bemühte, aufmerksame und herzliche Gastgeberin! Das Airbnb war blitzsauber und mit wirklich ALLEM ausgesrattet, was man brauchen könnte. Sie hat sich sogar extra die Zeit genommen die etwas heiklere Anfahrt zum Airbnb zu zeigen, was aber später kein Problem ist, wenn man eine gute Autofahrer/in ist😉 In mitten von Bananenbäumen hat man seine Ruhe und kann die Dachterrasse für sich alleine geniessen. Ich freue mich jetzt schon, wenn ich wieder dieses Goldstück buchen kann! Absolute Empfehlung für jede und jeden, die in Ruhe die Natur geniessen will! Danke Agnieszka!

If you’re looking for a quiet coastal cottage in Madeira this place is perfect. The view is beautiful with restaurants right around the corner. You’re steps away from the beach and beautiful hiking trails. The house is small but well kept and was very comfortable for two guests

Gorete and her daughter Joana made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. It's a beautiful apartment with everything we needed, and a fantastic view towards the sunset from the balcony. We're very keen hikers and were pleased to find two beautiful levada walks very close by.

The stay was amazing, Jose was very cooperative and helped when we needed things to be fixed or done. He helped us check in very smoothly despite our flight being delayed. He is an amazing host, and the house is incredible.

Wir waren zu Gast bei Francisco in der Villa Bella mit Pool und es war einfach traumhaft! Die Unterkunft war wunderschön, sehr gepflegt und luxuriös ausgestattet. Unsere Erwartungen wurden in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen, und die Sauberkeit der Villa war wirklich beeindruckend. Die Kommunikation mit Francisco war jederzeit freundlich, schnell und hilfsbereit. Wenn wir wieder nach Madeira reisen, würden wir ohne zu zögern erneut bei Francisco buchen. Ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt, der den Preis absolut wert ist. Vielen Dank für alles!

We loved our stay here. The surroundings of the area is beautiful, nestled in a valley and the gardens that the houses themselves are in are full of colour and have lots to look at. The houses themselves are clean, well equipped, we made great use of the shared kitchen and outdoor bbq. Don’t be put off by a communal kitchen, you still have your own fridge, kettle etc in your house and when we used the shared space we had it to ourselves. Everyone seems very respectful of the space to keep it clean and tidy. One of the best Airbnbs we’ve been too, in terms of comfort, equipment and location. Lauren was also always responsive and helpful. Would defo recommend this place ! I would say you need a car here, but then I’d say that goes for staying in medeira regardless if you want to see and enjoy all the island has to offer.

Wij zijn vier nachtjes verbleven in de accommodatie van Hugo. Het is een prachtig huis in een prachtige en zeer rustige omgeving. We hadden vooraf met Hugo een aankomst tijd afgesproken en hij stond ons op die tijd keurig netjes op te wachten (met een door Oma zelf gebakken cake 🥰) en heeft ons een rondleiding door het verblijf gegeven. Wij hebben echt echt genoten, dankjewel Hugo!

Wir haben eine Woche in der Unterkunft von Kevin verbracht und es war großartig. Das gemütliche Häuschen ist sauber, ordentlich und gut ausgestattet. Die Aussicht von der großen Terrasse auf das Meer ist traumhaft und in der ruhigen Lage des Hauses steht einem entspannten Urlaub in vollkommener Privatsphäre nichts im Weg. Der Flughafen ist ca. 30 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Das Haus bietet den perfekten Standort um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und Wanderungen der Insel gut erreichen zu können. Kevin war jederzeit erreichbar, spricht unsere Sprache und wirkt äußerst professionell. Er hat uns ermöglicht, am Tag der Abreise länger in dem Haus zu bleiben, da wir einen späten Flug hatten - definitiv ein herausragender Host. Wir haben uns hier äußerst wohl gefühlt und können diese Unterkunft mit Begeisterung weiterempfehlen.

This is once of the most beautiful villas we have stayed at. The pictures do not do it justice. The open plan space is lovely and the views are stunning. Emanuel was an excellent host, and responded immediately with any queries we had. I will definitely be coming back to this villa with other members of my family.

This location made it very easy to walkto buy groceries and worked well for travelling around the island. The outside dining area became our favourite spot. Luis was very responsive. He was also proactive in informing us about some road closures that would affect us. We would definitey recommend this location and would stay again oursleves. (There is a church bell behind which helpfully wakes you up at 7:00 am.)

Eine schöne und saubere Wohnung mit einem sehr schönen Ausblick - wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt :) Tipp: die Straße zum Haus von oben anfahren, da diese sehr steil und eng ist - der Parkplatz ist nichts für große Autos😉

Scott’s place is a great place, not only because the back porch gave an EXCELLENT view, but there was a bus stop right outside the gate! Waking up and coming back to the gorgeous ocean view made our stay worth every penny!

Appartement confortable et tres fonctionnel situe a Ponta do Sol tres bien situe pour visiter l’ile. Accessible en voiture seulement Fanny a ete impecable . Elle loge au dessus de l’appart loué. Nous n’avons pas teste la tres belle piscine qui etait a bonne temperature mais a l’ombre en fin d’aprem quand nous rentrions. Par contre petit dej au soleil face a la vue sur mer

Un grand merci à José, nous avons passé un séjour parfait dans son logement qui est situé dans un environnement très calme, la vue est magnifique, le logement est impeccable et bien situé sur l'île. C'est le meilleur air BNB dans lequel nous avons séjourné. Il y'a tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner ce qui est très appréciable. Notre arrivée s'est faite de façon autonome, les échanges avec José étaient très chaleureux et ses instructions très claires. Nous recommandons chaleureusement le logement de José ! Encore un grand merci !
