Annexe on farm; stunning views of Brecon Beacons

BeaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The most perfect place to spend our mini moon. Location is perfect, so peaceful and private - views are incredible with a hot tub in the perfect place to admire them. The place itself is cosy and has everything you need - super comfy bed! Whilst we stayed, we climbed up Pen y Fan, did the four falls walk and visited the national cave centre. Would 100% recommend Ceri’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.

Spacious Log Cabin in Penarth near to Cardiff

RachelRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The cabin was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. Comfy bed and nice hot shower. A nice touch to include milk, tea and coffee, cereal and snacks. The location is good, a 20 minute walk to the town and Penarth pier and the station and close to Comeston lake too. Gaynor and Glen were very hospitable, providing lots of advice and easy to contact. They went out of their way to be helpful during my visit. Would definitely stay again.

Jude & Geoff’s place was fantastic. This is a hiker’s dream. Perfect location for hiking in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) a porch for your boots, delicious local breakfast goods - they have thought of every detail. The canalside setting also makes for leisurely walks from the front door too. Jude & Geoff are also the loveliest hosts I’ve ever engaged with, so proactive, great recommendations and a clear passion for their lovely home and surroundings. We hope to come back!

Charming ‘one bedroom’ rural stable conversion

LizRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Spent 3 nights here and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Lesley and Martin we perfect hosts making sure that we had everything we needed and checking how our day had been each day. Also plenty of local recommendations The accommodation was just as described, if not more, with a welcome fruit bowl, Welsh cakes, milk, tea, coffee and even chocolates on your pillow. Was lovely to relax in a hot bath after a long day out, again with toiletries provided. we were able to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the evening sunshine when we could. Lesley's directions were easy to follow and the accommodation is within easy reach of Abergavenny, for local amenities and plenty of nearby walks or paddles either along the beautiful Brecon and Monmouthshire canal or nearby Brecon Beacons or Black Mountains

Gorgeous self contained annex - views of Pen-y-fan

HywelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Outstanding in every department. The annexe itself is a renovated outhouse, renovated to the highest standard. The location is superb to go to whatever you want to go in the region. We climbed Pen y Fan and it was worth every sweat and tear to get to the top. Brecon Town Centre has lovely Welsh craft shops, pubs and plenty of places to eat although we eat both nights in The Clarence Inn, food was exceptional. Liz and Ian are fantastic hosts and cannot be more accommodating. The accommodation had everything my wife and I and our little Spaniel needed. A very relaxing and exhausting two night stay. Cannot recommend this place enough. Diolch Liz a Ian

Adorable apartment with patio area & free parking

JamesRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Loula's apartment. She got in touch with us ahead of the time to give clear instructions, and the apartment was easy to find and very welcoming. It was a perfect base for our weekend in Wales, a very easy walk into Abergavenny (which we explored on our first day), and within driving distance of Cardiff (where we spent our second day). We used the kitchen to cook up some lovely meals from local produce we picked up in Abergavenny, and found everything we needed there. We would happily return in the future.
