Fantastic view over the Reykjavik area. We are close to many beautiful places you would want to visit; like Thingvellir national park, Glymur the highest waterfall in Iceland, Húsafell , Krauma, Giljaböð natural bath places, etc. All photos of the northern lights taken in our garden! A lakeside cabin at the foot of Medalfell mountain with direct access to the lake. A peaceful place with a beautiful lakeview where you can relax to the gentle sounds of the water. On the terrace is a barrel sauna with a beautiful view over the lake. The surrounding area is full of nature and a good starting point for little hikes. Good location for day trips to Snæfellsnes and the Golden Circle. During the winter time is a good chance of seeing the Northern lights (Aurora Borealis).

Tveir mjög þægilegir svefnsófar, góð eldunaraðstaða fyrir litla rétti. Góður andi í húsinu og gott og rólegt hverfi, stutt í strætó, stofnæðar, og rólegt umhverfi. Við búum í húsinu og erum alltaf til aðstoðar ef eitthvað er 😊
