Highly recommend staying at Simos's place! Very well-maintained, short walk away from many shops and restaurants, and the view of the water from the balcony is spectacular. Very much enjoyed our time there!

There will not be enough superlatives to describe this place. The location overlooking the Venetian Harbor was amazing. The house is historic, beautiful and has all the amenities you will want. You literally won't believe the large rooftop deck with crazy views. The house had lots of interesting things to read, lots of space for a large group and it was stocked with maps and guidebooks. The neighborhood is completely safe. The in-person welcome from the hosts contained some really thoughtful surprises (you will need to find out yourself - I won't ruin the surprise welcome.). Traumhafte Unterkunft direkt am Meer mit privatem Zugang und wunderschönem Außenbereich. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt! Zur Begrüßung gab es eine Flasche Wein und selbst gebackenen Kuchen 🥰 Artemis hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben! Das Apartment wurde sogar nochmal geputzt und wir haben neue Handtücher bekommen nach 2 Tagen. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen!

Het appartement is compact maar prima. Het ligt iets tegen de heuvel, wat goed beloopbaar is ( wel stijgend dus). Het uitzicht over de baai verveelt nooit, is zo prachtig! In het dorpje voldoende supermarkten en restaurants, genoeg te kiezen. Een flink deel van het strand is een langzaam aflopend zandstrand. Echt fijn! Verder een prima uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te bekijken.

Located right in the heart of old town Chania, can easily people watch and take in the sights and sounds of old town without having to leave your place. Perfect sunset views. Note: best place to reliably park for free overnight is “Chania town car park”, about a 10 min walk. May be easier in the off season; and harder in the peak. Overall the location can’t be beat.

One-of-a-kind, beautiful stay. If you’re lucky enough to find Stelios and Nina’s home available, book it. The most unique Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Wonderful hosts. Prime location. Gorgeous home with an amazing balcony. 10/10.

Such a phenomenal place! We stayed here as a group of five and it was so reasonably priced. AMAZING views, you are literally right against the water. Gorgeous, clean space. Easy 15 minute walk into Old Town. Host was amazing, she helped us call a taxi when we needed and gave us lots of recommendations. Stay here!!!

Wir haben uns in diesem Haus acht Tage lang sehr wohl gefühlt, auf der gut verschatteten Terrasse eine erholsame Zeit bis tief in die Nacht hinein verbracht. Ioanna hat uns mit verschiedenen Köstlichkeiten überrascht, liebevoll und immer erreichbar. Gerne kommen wir wieder, um diese schöne Aussicht zu genießen.

I truly recommend staying with Niko in this beautiful villa! The house is very modern, the outside area spectacular and private and the communication with Niko was clear and helpful. The accommodation works for both families and friends. The house is located around 30mins from Chania which is easy to get to by car. Can only recommend renting this villa.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, in der Küche war alles was man zum kochen benötigt, es gab sogar Kinderspielsachen und Equipment für den Strand. Alles war total sauber und der Kontakt zu Efi war sehr freundlich. Den Garten haben wir sehr gerne genutzt und auch den Grill dort. Vielen Dank, für die schöne Zeit, die wir dort verbringen konnten.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we booked, the host’s communication was excellent — always quick to respond and incredibly helpful. The hospitality was truly top-notch; We felt so welcome and cared for throughout our visit. The space itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s clear the host puts a lot of thought into creating a clean, cozy, and inviting environment. Every little detail was perfect. I also really appreciated how helpful and accommodating the host was, going out of their way to make sure we had a smooth and enjoyable experience. My stay was so beautiful! I was travelling alone but at no point felt uneasy or unsafe. I felt very much at home. The place is immaculate and exactly how it looks in the photos. The views are breathtaking and it is a complete peaceful haven! Giorgos also arranged car rental for me, he made it super easy and the company he booked through were great ! I could not recommend this place enough, from the property down to the communication with Giorgos, everything was perfect!

This was a perfect home base to explore Chania! Walkable to some of the BEST restaurants (a block away from To Stachi, and yes, you NEED to go!), oceanfront, beaches, and just far enough away from the bustle of tourists and restaurants to the west. Evangelia gave the warmest welcome, even at the most inconvenient hour. Was always quick to respond and kind. We enjoyed swinging in the room every night as we prepped for bed, and Evangelia also had nice amenities for us throughout the space which made it so much more welcoming. The soundproof windows and door were the BEST! Total game changer and so energy efficient. The space is small, but it is all you need when you are spending every minute exploring, and would highly recommend coming here for anyone!

Loved our stay here! The location is great. There is a view of the water and it’s very close walking distance to old town. Parking was really very close. It was usually pretty full, but we always found a spot.

Valias place was amazing ! We dealt with her mum Katerina who was super friendly and always on the phone if I needed anything. Perfect location with stunning views of the Venetian port . Everywhere easy to get to. The beach about a 30 min walk and a beautiful one at that. Highly recommend and are looking forward to booking again nxt year 😀

We had a great time at Fotis and Amalia’s place. Definitely one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed! The location was perfect as we like to stay just outside of the hustle and bustle but close enough so we can dip in and out with ease. There’s plenty of bakeries, restaurants and supermarkets around. The views are just outstanding and we ended up getting food a few times to eat at home as we enjoyed to look at the sea from the house. It was also easy to cook, there’s plenty of utensils if you wish to prep a meal in. The bed was really comfortable, as I’m 7 months pregnant asked if we could have a couple of extra pillows and this was ready for our arrival. We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of groceries we had available at the house too! Fresh fruit (we loved making our own fresh orange juice in the morning!), bread, butter and many other snacks! Fotis was also great at recommending places to visit like beaches, restaurants and museums. We 100% recommend this place!

Loved the huge deck. Across street from beautiful beach where you could rent chairs and an umbrella and order food and drink. Walk to dozens of all kinds of different restaurants right on the “the strip” and in the old town.

I‘m more that happy that we decided to stay at Dimitri‘s place. He ish very kind and helped us right away, if we had any questions. The location is peaceful and has a great view. The beach is not far away and the size of the apartment is just perfekt for a single person or a couple. I will definitely visit again.

Die Wohnung liegt perfekt, um die Insel zu erkunden, man ist im Zentrum der Insel, sofort auf der Autobahn (Empfehlung: vor Einzug unbedingt rückwärts am Berg anfahren üben!!) und trotzdem ist die Wohnung sehr ruhig und hat einen tollen Blick aufs Meer. Vor allem der kleine Balkon direkt über dem Meer hat es uns angetan, auch wenn er im Sommer vielleicht etwas zu heiß/zu wenig schattig sein könnte. Hier schließt man auch schnell Freundschaft mit den 4 Katzen, die gelegentlich auch den Nachbarshund zur Weißglut treiben. Wer Angst vor Katzen hat, sollte sich bei diesen anhänglichen Exemplaren lieber eine andere Wohnung suchen, Katzenfreunde werden es lieben. Mariannas Mutter ist eine gute Seele, bringt Eier der hauseigenen Hühner sowie frisches Obst und Gemüse vorbei. Alles in allem für uns der perfekte Ort, um die Erkundung der Insel mit Erholung zu kombinieren.

Wir hatten einen schönen 2-wöchigen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft von Christina. Lage: Das kleine Penthouse liegt ein paar Meter von der Promenade entfernt, dort sind schon Cafés, Bars und Restaurants zu finden. Das touristische Zentrum von Chania, also der alte Hafen und die Altstadt, sind rund 10 Minuten Fussweg entlang der Promenade entfernt. Eine schöne Bäckerei und ein kleiner Supermarkt sind buchstäblich um die Ecke gelegen. In der Straße selbst ist es ruhig und wir hatten keine Probleme, immer wieder einen parkplatz für unseren MIetwagen zu finden. Aufgrund der innerstädtischen Lage muss man mit einer gewissen Geräuschkulisse im Hintergrund rechnen - ist bei uns daheim auch nicht anders. Ausstattung: Die Bilder geben einen guten Eindruck von den Räumlichkeiten wieder, nur das Bett wirkt auf dem Foto kleiner, als es tatsächlich ist. Die Dachterresse ist natürlich der Knüller, mit schönem Blick auf das Meer. Ansonsten haben wir alles vorgefunden, was wir benötigt haben.
