House vacation rentals in Rethimnon

What a wonderful place for a peaceful few days! The view is breathtaking and the area is just beautiful. The villa is extremely well appointed and has every amenity you could ask for, including a fantastic salt water pool. Hora Sfakion is a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk away and has a choice of shops and tavernas all serving great food. My partner and I stayed with our young baby daughter and Alexandra and Lefteris couldn’t have been more helpful setting up a cot and high chair for our arrival.

Where to start! The most amazing holiday at Villa Mare Monte, the Villa is beautiful and the surroundings are so relaxing. We loved every minute of our week in the Villa but a special mention to Markos for bring a great host, so responsive and helpful always- even come over one day with extra toys for my toddler, provided endless recommendations and helped us with transfers and taxis throughout our stay. We also booked in a great night where manolis and his mother came and cooked for us at the villa- cretan meals it was perfect and a wonderful experiences for us all. The facilities at the villa are brilliant and we got full use of all the facilities during our stay, cooking everyday in both kitchens. We stayed as a family of 12 and had a spare room (top floor). Would highly recommend and would love to come back- Ps the garden with trampoline and slide for toddlers was very much appreciated 😀 see you again! Thank you again from the Mitchell family x

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Villa Despina! Die Lage ist traumhaft ruhig, perfekt zum Entspannen, und gleichzeitig ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um den Süden Kretas zu erkunden. Die Villa selbst ist sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet – von der Küche bis zum schönen Außenbereich mit Pool war alles top gepflegt. Besonders gefallen haben uns die herzliche Gastfreundschaft und die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten bei unserer Ankunft. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt! Ein echtes Highlight: der traumhafte Blick auf die umliegende Natur und die Sonnenuntergänge am Abend. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können die Villa Despina jedem empfehlen, der Ruhe, Komfort und kretische Herzlichkeit sucht. Vielen Dank für alles!

Atemberaubender Ausblick! Ihr wollt eine saubere und wunderschöne Unterkunft? Dann seid ihr hier richtig! 🤩 Die Unterkunft ist modern, sauber und toll ausgestattet. Der Aussenbereich ist einfach perfekt, tolle Sitzmöglichkeiten, mega Pool auch für Kids und mit dem Spa Whirlpool einfach ein Paradis! Nicht zu vergessen diesen wunderschönen Ausblick auf den Sonnenuntergang 🤩 Nicht nur die Unterkunft ist Perfekt, auch die Gastgeber, Maria und Savas sind tolle Gastgeber! Freundlich und Zuvorkommend, und immer erreichbar! Sie haben Spielsachen für meinen Sohn gebracht und Trotz der heftigen Herausforderung mit dem Saharastaub, haben sie alles dafür getan, dass wir unseren Urlaub zu 100% genießen können 😊 Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch auf Kreta und bei Maria 🥰 Danke für alles!

The Location was amazing. Quite and private. Everything was amazing there was nothing to complain about probably the best airbnb I have ever stayed in. Marianna is absolutely amazing. The sweetest and most caring host ever. She gave us so many recommendations and was beyond helpful. I would recommend mend this place to everyone!!

We enjoyed a lot our stay in this beautiful villa. The sea view from the pool is amazing and the house is surrounded by olive trees. The host was very responsive and helped us with local recommendations. Highly recommended!

The villa is lovely and has everything you need for a holiday. Clean and well maintained. There was extra cleaning during the week. Great view of the sea and the mountains. The cars passing on the main road, which is 100m below the villa, create a slight noise, but it is not unbearable. Maria is a great host and despite the late evening time of arrival she was waiting for us with a smile. She took care of us all the time and gave us valuable advice. There was a problem with the dishwasher, which was fixed the next day as soon as I informed Maria. We had a great week and would come back again.

Tout était absolument parfait, de l’accueil chaleureux de Jude et Andreas en passant par la beauté du lieu, la propreté de la maison, son confort et ses équipements, le soin apporté aux détails, le goût avec lequel les objets ont été sélectionnés, le paysage aux alentours et la piscine ! Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine et reviendrons sans aucun doute.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à Rethymnon. Logement impeccable et très confortable, immense plage, tavernes, boulangeries et supermarchés accessible à pied. Vieille ville à 10 minutes en voiture. Hôtes accueillants et d'une incroyable gentillesse. Nous recommandons vivement cet hébergement.

This was the best Airbnb we've stayed at. Lovely village with restaurants, a bakery and markets for most of what you'd need. On arrival the house had been generously stocked with more than we expected. Argiro and her family were very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend Iro House. Thanks so much Argiro, we will be back!

My family and I had an amazing time during our recent stay at Christos place. Everything we needed was available, and or Christos ensured we had it. Made excellent restaurant recommendations and he booked us a table a the very popular Prima Plora with excellent food, and view. During my stay, I was ableto enjoy the rooftop admiring the lights and ambiance of the old town. I highly reccomend this apartment if you’re in Rethymno, I am looking forward to my next stay.

It was great staying in Roustika! We came in June, but can see the appeal of the place in the hotter months, as the air is cooler than the lower parts of the island.

Είχαμε μια εξαιρετική διαμονή στη Villa Iro και τη συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!Το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται ανάμεσα σε παραδοσιακά κρητικά χωριά. Πρόκειται για μια υπέροχη πέτρινη βίλα σε ένα γαλήνιο περιβάλλον με μοναδική θεα! Ο χώρος είναι φιλόξενος μιας και μας παρείχε όλες τις ανέσεις (πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα, άνετα κρεβάτια, πλυντήριο, τζάκι κτλ) Απολαύσαμε ιδιαίτερα τον εξωτερικό χώρο και τη μοναδική θέα καθώς και το αίθριο στη βίλα. Ο οικοδεσπότης ήταν διαθέσιμος, ευγενικός και είχαμε άριστη επικοινωνία πριν την άφιξη αλλά και κατά τη διάρκεια της διαμονής μας. Σίγουρα θα επιστρέψουμε στο μέλλον!

Wir haben in einer schönen Wohnung mit wunderbarer Sicht auf das ganze Umland unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Wohnung mit großzügiger Terrasse waren super. Unsere Vermieter waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gute Ausflugsziele von dort aus erreichbar. Wir würden wieder dorthin fahren.

Absolutely fantastic stay. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and in the perfect location. Stunning views and very peaceful. To get the view does mean you can’t easily walk anywhere but restaurants in Sellia are short ride up hill. Well equipped villa. Access road and parking is tight but that is typical for island. Hosts always on hand to assist. Great swimming in Plakias which is a nice seaside town. Sun from early morning to evening (on upper deck) Pool is on backside of villa we stayed in - more for cooling off than a swim. Watch the tiles on steps as they are slippery!

We had a wonderful two weeks at this rental. Sthatis and Alexandra were fantastic hosts, very responsive and accommodating. The house is exactly like the photos (minus the hanging chairs- but they were not missed). It is ade up of two separate apartments each with 2 bedrooms. It is well equipped and gets the most beautiful sunsets, perfect for an evening barbeque . If you wish to explore the island you will definitely need a car but it is wonderfully located between many of the islands attractions and accessible from both airports. The lovely maid (whose name I cannot remember- sorry!) attended twice. We had some unusual weather while we were there, including a sandstorm which coated the entire area in dust, but Stathis and Alexandra had organised the following day to have the outdoor areas cleaned and the pool water serviced so that we could use the facilities, which we were very impressed by. Overall it was a fantastic choice and we would recommend it to anybody considering staying

Christos is een fantastische beheerder en reageert adhoc op situaties. Accomodatie was brandschoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Tijdens ons verblijf werd ook op professionele wijze het zwembad schoongemaakt Geen enkel punt van kritiek.

The hospitality was truly top-notch; We felt so welcome and cared for throughout our visit. The space itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s clear the host puts a lot of thought into creating a clean, cozy, and inviting environment. Every little detail was perfect. I also really appreciated how helpful and accommodating the host was, going out of their way to make sure we had a smooth and enjoyable experience. Simply stunning apartment, glorious views and easy access to the little village of Kalyves. We spent most days by the pool and evenings eating at the many restaurants by the beach. The apartment is beautiful and well equipped, the views from the living room are stunning. Eleni is an attentive and very responsive host who looked after us extremely well. We will be back very soon!
