Formgivaren Carl Malmsten grundade sin skola Capellagården i Vickley med konstnärlig inriktning. Anläggningen är öppen för besökare och ett av Ölands mest besökta turistmål. Där finns café och en butik med fina hantverksprodukter och egenodlade växter till försäljning. Vicklebyalvaret lockar många blomsterälskare. I maj månad breder ett hav av orkidéer ut sig.

Renoverat charmigt gårdshus på Öland. Huset ligger på östra sidan av Öland i byn Åkerby. Denna by ligger utmed östra vägen men ändå avskilt tack vare trädgården. Närhet till havet, Strandtorp eller Bjärby-badet inte mer än några kilometer bort samt endast 15km till brofästet och knappt tre mil till Kalmar gör det lämpligt för många olika dagsutflykter.

Min kæreste og jeg overnattede i hytten i 2 nætter. Virkelig hyggelig lille hytte, i de smukkeste omgivelser. Værten var nem at komme i kontakt med og var rigtig sød til at spørge ind til om alt var som det skulle være. Vil helt klart anbefale stedet til andre

Vi åkte till Öland för andra året och valde att återkomma till det här fina boendet. Det levde upp till förväntningarna även denna gång. Lugnt, mysigt och så avkopplande 👍 Allt är i fint skick och det är en väldigt hemtrevlig känsla. Tack för att vi fick bo hos er i år igen 😊

Une mini maison rouge suédoises typique, mais aménagée avev goût et avec tout le confort cuisine, salle de bain et lit très confortable. Une petite cabane toute cosy, dans le jardin de Julia, avec vue sur les champs. Il y a également une terrasse sympa mais dont nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu profiter car trop venteux. Hôtes très discrets, ce qui est appréciable (mais sympathique et donne toute les informations).

Fridfull och vacker miljö att bo och promenera i när vi besökte Kalmar en helg. Perfekt att sängkläder och handdukar ingick. Ganska trångt för 5 personer förstås men fungerade ändå bra för oss med tre tonåringar. Två mysiga katter som familjen gillade.

Secluded cosy cottage with Öland seafront location

Vi havde et skønt ugelangt ophold i Elisabeths bolig og oplevede en fantastisk kommunikation med værten. Elisabeth er utroligt imødekommende og sendte klare instruktioner og gode tips, som gjorde vores ophold ekstra behageligt. Huset ligger smukt med fri udsigt over et betagende overdrev og Østersøen, hvor man kan se så langt øjet rækker. Her er masser af fred og ro til at slappe af og nyde ferien fuldt ud. Naturinteresserede vil elske området; vi nød fuglekiggeture og lavede et flot herbarium. Husets off-grid funktioner fungerede upåklageligt; vandpumpen gav fint vand, solpanelerne leverede strøm nok til at oplade vores telefoner og bærbare computere, og udekøkkenet med gasgrill og gasblus var en fornøjelse at bruge. Der er langt til nærmeste nabo, hvilket vores Welsh Springer Spaniel nød, da han kunne løbe frit omkring. Vi kan varmt anbefale Elisabeths bolig til dem, der sætter pris på en off-grid ferie i smukke, naturskønne omgivelser. Vi vender gerne tilbage!
