In der Nähe der Wohnung befinden sich verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Aktivitäten (Bäcker, Fleischer, Supermarkt, Bank, Freibad, Fitnesscenter). Bus und Zug sind zu Fuß in 5 min. erreichbar und mit dem Zug (13 min), Bus (30 min, fährt aller 20 min auch Nachts) oder Auto (15 min) in der Dresdner Innenstadt. Den Elberadweg erreicht man mit dem Rad innerhalb von 5 min.
