Homely cottage in the national park

This cozy summer cottage is located in the heart of Bohemian Switzerland National Park in the north of the Czech Republic. The symbol of this National Park – Pravčická brána (Prebischtor) is only 7 km far from our homely cottage. This place is unique because of many possibilities for hiking, cycling, relaxing or for mushroom gathering as well. In a couple of minutes you can cross the border and enjoy other interesting places in Germany. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms with 3 beds upstairs and 1 sofa bed downstairs. The living room is a perfect place to sit with family or friends, play the desk games and have a nice time by the fireplace. Television has mostly German and Czech channels. The kitchen is well equipped with the fridge, the stove, the oven, the coffee machine, the microwave, the kettle and the dishes. Clean towels and linen, soap, shampoo and hairdryer are provided. There is a grill with seating in the garden; a roofed pergola with additional seating behind the cottage offers privacy and rest in the nature. Because we want to keep the unique atmosphere of the place, the cottage does not have a Wi-Fi connection.

In the large living room overlooking almost all directions the sun always shines, in the large bathroom you could dance. In addition, there is the cozy double room "for the parents" with romantic sloping roof - the children's room with 3 single beds and play corner.

The spacious blue and white tiled bathroom is equipped with a toilet, sink and shower. In the large, cozy living room there are two comfortable couches that can be converted into two single sleeping places in a few simple steps. There is a comfortable hanging chair for chilling and a spacious fireplace corner for cool evenings.

The newly renovated 70sqm apartment is located on the first floor of a house on a hillside in the small village of Schöna, 6km from Bad Schandau, 200m from the forest. Apart from windows and doors, only natural materials were used. It is heated by a stove that can also be used for cooking and baking. In addition, an electric 2-plate cooking hob is available. Five kilometers from us is Hřensko, the entrance station to Pravčická brána. You can go to Děčín for culture and entertainment by bike, train or car.

Great place! Loved the sauna and the fireplace, the bed was really comfortable and it was so relaxing to be in nature. Only recommendation, It has a Nespresso machine but no stores nearby sold pods so if you're a coffee fan I'd suggest bringing your own pods! We had a brilliant trip

Apartment right in the heart of Saxon Switzerland. Hiking tours from the front door are possible and all sights max. 30 minutes' drive away. The apartment was clean and family-friendly. Towels, linens, kitchen utensils and a parking space in front of the apartment building are available.

A great apartment that even exceeded our expectations. Well-equipped and in a scenic location. We especially liked sitting on the terrace. On foot, you can set off directly for beautiful hikes.
