The Axter Hütte, which is actually a chalet, is located in an easily accessible secluded location in Reichenfels in the beautiful Lavanttal in Carinthia at 1330 m above sea level and is an excellent starting point for relaxed ski tours and hikes. The Obdach ski resort is about 20 minutes, the Klippitztörl ski resort is about 30 minutes and the Koralpe ski resort is about 45 minutes by car. The vacation home "Strickerl" is located in one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the world, in the Salzkammergut. We are located at an altitude of approx. 880 meters, which makes our guests immediately feel the alpine feeling. With us you have the opportunity to enjoy relaxation & the Austrian idyll. The self-catering hut is located at about 1350 m above sea level. Particularly suitable for couples or families with up to max. 4 children. An ideal starting point for hikes on the Zirbitzkogel or child-friendly hiking trails start right outside the door. No single location, but large garden with terrace, a nice sauna, solar shower outside and additional dining area in the garden by the fireplace. The cabin is strictly non-smoking and unfortunately animals are not allowed.

In summer, hikes and a visit to the district capital of Murau are recommended.

In the hut is one double bed with a pull-out extra bed, small kitchen with fridge, outdoor terrace with deck chair. Every hut has its own bathroom in the immediate vicinity (15m-30m).
