Monthly Rentals in Regoledo

I had 5 nights in Perledo and Luigi's place was so great to come back to after busy days exploring the lake. Sitting on the balcony first thing and last thing was pretty special to be able to see that view. Gorgeous. The walk from the apartment to the Varenna ferry dock is approx 25 mins depending how fast or slow you walk. Walk down the road past Bar Milano until you see Via alle scuole road on the left. The path down to Varenna is on the right and sign posted. Some of the walk you're on the road, just look for the blue and white pedestrian signs to continue down. I personally didn't even attempt to walk back up. Carefully check the bus schedule as times vary depending on school terms. No bus on Sundays. I took two taxi rides and recommend booking well in advance. I also recommend a walk to castle vezio (follow the signs when walking down to Varenna) as the view from the top is stunning. Plus it's visible from the balcony! Grazie mille Luigi, I'd love to come back one day.

Wow! What a beautiful location! Claudio was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was squeaky clean and had a fantastic view of the lake. We will definitely be back. Personally I would recommend having a little car to get around as I imagine it would be a hard walk back up from the town once you’re full of pasta! Thank you so much Claudio.

Elisas place is so lovely. It is well located but still a bit away from the main centers close to varenna. The rooms are well thought through and give enough space for a small family. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to come back with a bit of more time in pocket:)

We stayed there for over a week and felt like at home. We highly recommend it! Avoid Como and head straight for Bellano...no lines to board the ferry, no lines to board the train and no lines to board the bus. It has great family run restaurants. It's very friendly. It has a nice concert hall with community events/concerts. Everything is very close to the apartment, including a great bakery next to Conad City market. Bellano is a charming town with a true Italian culture, not a tourist trap. Our host, Mrs. Antonella, was very accommodating and her place was very very very comfortable!
