It has a quiet, private setting with everything needed to make your stay comfortable &, hopefully, inspired. Beyond this private nest are 360 degree views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains, the Rio Grande Gorge, spectacular sunset displays & miles of walking & bike trails.

Pepper Sauce Camp Cabin 6

Cabin 6 is our most popular unit. With wood log walls inside it's about 900 sq. ft and sleeps up to 5 people. It's got a full size fridge, gas stove, microwave and a full set of dishes, pots and pans, utensils, etc. There's a wood burning stove plus gas and electric heaters. It has a large foyer/entryway for all your outdoor gear. The patio out back offers unobstructed views to the lake, while the log bench out front is a perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset over Wheeler Peak, NM's tallest.

This charming 1940's log cabin has been completely updated with high-end amenities, creating the perfect balance of rustic luxury. Located on 5 acres adjacent to Carson National Forest, the cabin backs up to a beautiful mountain wall and river running right off the back deck (typically dries up Oct-Jan). Just 10 min to the plaza, you’ll be close enough to enjoy the action of town, but far enough way to escape people and immerse yourself in nature. Lots of great hiking trails just minutes away.
