The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. We (family with one child) really enjoyed our vacation with Bernd. We can only agree with our predecessors with the very positive review.... Starting with the fast great communication with Bernd, the view is even more beautiful than in the pictures (it even has a pair of binoculars to watch animals), very clean apartment, nice details in the apartment, great tree house, insect screens on the windows, cool unique bathroom, fireplace, environmental tips for a whole year, always an open ear and help from Bernd, loooooots of privacy (with private entrance), parking right next to the house, you feel welcome and comfortable from the first moment, even in the rain it is wonderful to look out into nature through the window front and when it is hot outside, it is nice and cool inside-- we can warmly and wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation!

We stayed two nights in the accommodation. Very nice host, clean beautiful apartment in a quiet residential area. Everything you need is available. Definitely recommend.

We had a great week here as a family of four.The homestay is like in the photos, all the facilities are fully equipped, clean, and there is a parking space, the surroundings are particularly peaceful and pleasant, hiking and biking are very good.The homeowner also prepared Easter chocolate bunnies and chocolate eggs for us, and four beverages, the kids were especially happy with a🥳 five star review, recommended to friends on a self-driving tour👍👍👍

We slept here for a night on transit to Italy. Very nice stay. Friendly welcome by the hosts, beautiful place with lots of greenery and space. The cottage itself was very clean and equipped with every comfort. Our children were also thought of, books, toys, etc. were all present. Totally super thank you so much!
