We are located within a 10 minute drive from 3 -Frio River Public Accesses & popular Garner State Park, as well as only 15 miles on FM 337 to Vanderpool & Lost Maples State Park; however, the “Ranch House” is in a peaceful setting, which draws wildlife from the mountains & pastures to our feeding station, where they are fed daily & drink from the creek which flows near the house, as well as water troughs, when the creek is dry. Our 1300 acres is the perfect setting for a peaceful stay for all.

This is a 3 bedroom with a loft cabin. 2 queen bedrooms, 1 king bedroom, 1 loft full and twin bed, and a sofa bed in the living room.

The heart of the house is its large deck - perfect for the stunning Texas sunsets or gathering around the firepit. We also provide kayaks for exploring, tree swings, and hammocks for ultimate relaxation.

My place is close to Garner State Park (3 Miles), Lost Maples Park, Frio River, Concan, Utopia, Kerrville, & Uvalde. The famous three sisters (best driving roads in the USA) You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, and the outdoors space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets), Pets are an additional $15 per pet, per night. We will have to bill after you book, b/c there is no option on Airbnb.

Desi’s Hill Country Hideaway

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Plenty of room for large families. Privacy fenced yard in back. Our place is an older two-story home with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, and we are making improvements as we grow. Visit the local shops in town or play on the Nueces at the pay to use spots or try the local free areas. Long term rental is available upon request. This is not a waterfront property. If you are looking for a peaceful weekend, this is your spot. You won't see many cars pass by on Ranch Road 336. You will see deer, cattle, birds and other wildlife. Star gazing at night is a treat! The property is 18 miles north of Leakey, so it is easy to get to the Frio River and find good places to eat or drive to one of the state parks nearby. Garner State Park and Los Maples are fun day trips.
