The Churchside Well

Churchside Well is centred around something you won’t find anywhere else, a historic well, preserved beneath a circular glass floor feature within the living space. Recently renovated to a high standard, the annex blends exposed stonework, warm lighting and bold design touches with modern comfort. The result is a characterful yet contemporary coastal retreat in the peaceful village of Ravenscar. Was managed by Host & Stay, they didn’t provide the service we wanted so now managing it ourselves.

The cottage is full of charm and character and has been furnished to a high standard. Boasting stunning sea views along the Heritage Coast and across to Robin Hood’s Bay, this is the idyllic location for a quiet break. Visit the National Trust Visitor Centre based in the village for information on the numerous nearby walks and cycle routes, including The Cleveland Way.

A lovely self catering holiday apartment,sleeps 2 and dogs are welcome. It’s situated above the lovely laurel inn pub. The kitchen/lounge area has WI-FI,recliner and easy chair,and a table and chairs. The bedroom has a quality double bed,hanging space and a smart t.v. Bedding and towels are provided. The bathroom has a shower,toilet,sink and a heated towel rail. ACCESSIBILITY- we are sorry to say that our rooms are not suitable for those with limited mobility,due to the steepness of stairs.

Our Mini Pod is situated near the coastline & the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, Between Whitby & Scarborough. Driving to either is a breeze, Scarborough is about 15 mins away & Whitby about the same. Our site is a few minutes away from the Old Scarborough to Whitby Railway line ( also known as the Cinder track ) a walker & bike friendly trail. The Cleveland Way also in walking distance. Our site is small but friendly and over looks the peaceful countryside. Adults only
