Imagine waking up to birds chirping and quiet waves crashing against the lake edge. You are located in a comfortable double bed and look out towards Siljan. The breakfast, lunch and dinner you cook yourself over the open fire. What a treat! You can enjoy the silence, nature, water and smell of freshly cooked coffee over open fire! Guests have access to the wood-fired sauna, wood-fired hot tub, boat, canoe, pontoon boat with electric motor etc. Barbecue and campfire at the beach. Patio on private wooden deck. A rustic, safe, secluded, remote location. Must be experienced!

My favorite place in Dalarna

The former "teacher's house" (187 square meters) of the neighboring village school, which was closed in 1969, is located in the small town of Dalfors. The modernized home has access to a pond that leads to the large Amungensee. The lake is 800 m away and has a beautiful bathing beach. W-LAN (unlimited) via LTE. The ice rink in Furudal is opened from 01.09. until 30.04. Golf and boat tours in Furudal. Edsbyn (33km) has all the necessary infrastructure. Local trade in Dalfors.

Perfect accommodation for a winter ski break in Dalarna. A cosy cottage neighbouring Rättviks Slalombacken (our local ski slope) just 200m away. You can almost ski in/out when heavy snow, visible from bedroom window. Great view of Lake Siljan. We are 1km away from the main beach, pier and train station. Large plot with space for cars and outdoor activities. Amenities include use of all facilities, indoor fireplace, outdoor firepit, kids play area, seating, veranda, garden.
