A tranquil country escape a short distance from the infamous Mourne Mountains. It has a large garden which is ideal for relaxing in the sun and a patio for socialising in the country air. Amazing landscape views from every corner! We are very proud to be a part of the Dogs Welcome Scheme and the Walkers Welcome Scheme!

200 year old cottage nestled in a white-washed courtyard, lovingly restored and brought to life. All the modern comforts integrated between stone walls and rustic beams in a beautiful rural setting. Located half a mile from Tollymore Forest and by car we are 5 mins from Mourne Mountains, 5 mins from Newcastle and 5 mins from Castlewellan. The cottage is in the midst of our working horse farm, horses, chickens, dogs and donkeys are all part of the family. Dogs and horses are welcome guests.

Beautiful house! Every bit as good as it looks to be in the photos. Looking out through the main window in the lounge area we were able to watch the ships and boats sail past on the sea and looking through the other window at the back of the house we were able to watch the clouds and rain storm folding over the mountains. Then this morning while enjoying our coffee we to watched the rabits play in the field behind us. Such a magical place and so peaceful. We had such a lovely time and hope to be back soon. Communication was very good and accessing the property was straightforward and convenient. The place was immaculate and had everything you could need plus some thoughtful extras. The hot tub was perfect and the views spectacular. The stay was everything we hoped for in a relaxing night away.

Fabulous location and host! From start to finish Karen prioritised our experience. the location was perfect as a base for day trips. the apartment was well maintained and spotless. the attention to detail was appreciated, the iron, the hairdryer, the bathroom products you may forget to pack, Karen had it covered. the beds were very comfortable and having an en-suite for both bedrooms allowed us to really relax. Highly recommend this apartment.

The views were unbelievable! The gorse was in full bloom and surrounded us on all sides. We could see a wisp of the sea from our rooms along with the forest and hills. The little sheep behind us were an added perk as they came to drink from their trough every day with their lambs. We felt private and secluded and it was peaceful and restful. Loved, loved loved this location.

So incredibly beautiful, miss the mountain and sea views from kitchen sink and front of house respectively already!! Wish we were back there, and will try get another weekend booked asap!! Thank you for everything provided, such high spec! And we were even blessed with a NI heatwave to sunbathe!!
