Vacation rentals with breakfast in Rangitikei River

Absolutely delightful cottage which catered for all our needs (3 generations!). warm, dry, clean. Very well equipped and we really appreciated the extra details and treats in the pantry and fridge!! Host was warm and welcoming & check in was a breeze. We wish we could have stayed longer but I'm sure we will be back again! Thankyou!

Excellent home for a large group, the view was amazing looking out at the whanganui river, very sunny. Had all the amenities and extras too, it was a well equiped home. Will definitely go and stay again. Peter was fantastic around the communications. Thank you for letting us stay at your home.

Absolutely loved our stay at Andrew’s, it was so peaceful and surrounded by beautiful native bush, meaning the bird life was bountiful. The house was everything we needed, the fireplaces made us feel at home and cozy. Communication was great, and Catherine was super helpful and always available for questions. We’ll be back for sure!!

I found it a perfect place to stay for 5 days. The location is very convenient and everything inside the house is high quality and thoughtfully put together. It has everything you need but is uncluttered with plenty of space for your things. Shower, kitchen, beds are all excellent and home-like quality. The neighbours are very quiet and the area feels safe and secure.

We had an awesome stay. Kate was very hospitable as we booked on the day and it was ready when we arrived. She had done xtras to make sure we had a lovely stay as we arrived in the evening the hall lights on. Instructions were great. The extra care by having a bottle of orange juice and milk and butter sachets in fridge. A little continental bar in pantry and soap tabs in laundry. We so appreciated this. The apartment was pristine and cozy! We really appreciated Anna’s attention to detail with all the amenities and household features; the view was beautiful and our stay was absolute bliss.

Everything was exactly as the listing had said. The space was very private, very quiet and relaxing to be in. The space was very clean and extremely well equipped. We had a great stay at the Station House apartment. The location was ideal to Victoria Ave, and so handy to have an allocated carpark available! The apartment itself was very chic, clean and comfortable. Brian and Tracy provided really clear comms for check-in instructions, finding the place, etc. It was a great spot and I would stay there again when in Whanganui next.

Beautiful, peaceful spot close to town with everything we needed. Jude is a wonderful host and gave us great recommendations about hikes nearby. We would love to visit again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Fran’s. Very private and lovely rooms. We especially loved the great breakfast selection. Easy contactless entry to the rooms and peaceful location. Fran is very friendly and accomodating. We would stay there again if ever we travelled back to the Manawatu.

I stayed at the Gumnut B&B for just two nights on a road trip through Whanganui. The guest space is large enough to be an apartment because there is a lounge and dining room as well as a bedroom and dedicated bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and generous. I spent my first afternoon on the porch enjoying the cool breeze and pleasant weather with views of the garden. The neighborhood is quiet at night and felt safe. I walked into downtown to explore Whanganui. Maryann and Barry were friendly hosts and Maryann stopped to chat with me when she had time. I recommend staying at the Gumnut B&B and I would gladly stay again.

we had a very comfortable stay in Janice's lovely house. the room had a heat pump, electric blankets and lovely linen. we were welcomed with a look around the house and a drink by the fire just chatting. enjoyed the buzz and meal at the Station Hotel in Hunterville. great stop on the drive through to wellington.

Easy place to stay, has a workspace which is great for business traveller's, the hosts couldn't be more helpful and was pleasant all round. Was also nice to have some coffee and breakfast food provided in the room.
