The Pondarosa is our little piece of paradise.

We are a short drive from both Wanganui, and Kia Iwi beach , we are surrounded by farm land, so enjoy the peace and quiet, but are close enough to enjoy the many cafes and restaurants Wanganui has to offer. Take advantage of the beautiful river, our fabulous river front Saturday markets and our many specialty shops along our gorgeous main street. We have lovely gardens here you can sit and enjoy while reading a book, the only noise is that of the birds and the odd sheep or cow. Relax and enjoy

Hello and thanks for checking out my listing. My home is brand new, having been completed in June 2020, and is located less than five minutes by car from the centre of Feilding. Come and enjoy a beautiful sunny bedroom with Queen bed and your own ensuite bathroom. A continental breakfast will be set out and waiting for you in the morning and I am happy to accommodate special dietary requests if possible. Guests are welcome to relax in the lounge area with a wine or tea/coffee.

Braemar House is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, small groups & families (the most fantastic play park for kids is just a few minutes away). We're located just across the road from the Whanganui River & 10min walk from the main shopping street Victoria Avenue. Prices are per room - additional charges for either a cooked or continental (cereal, yoghurt & fruit) breakfast. This room has a queen bed, a small hand basin and a garden view.

Magical mid-century home

Hautawa was designed by well-known Wellington architect Sir Michael Fowler for my great grandparents Sir Thomas & Lady Duncan in the 1950s. Sir Thomas & Lady Duncan were recognised for their philanthropy toward polio victims in the 1940s. At the time the house was designed with no expense-spared and had all the mod-cons. It’s a very early example of Sir Michael Fowler’s architectural work, but a treasure for any mid-century architecture lover.

A breakfast spread is arranged on a textured tablecloth. Toasted bread is displayed alongside a jar of peanut butter, a bottle of Vegemite, a glass of juice, a bowl of butter, and a cup of honey. The setting is inviting and simple.

Kawau is a new home built in the character style of the 1900's. Situated on 1.5 acres with a large lawn. Take the bridge over the Little Kawau stream to wander the paths of our garden or relax on our covered decks. We are adjacent to Schnell Wetlands walkways. 5 minutes from PN Airport and 10 minutes to Manfeild, the centre of Palmy, or Ashhurst for the famous Gorge Walk. We are unable to accommodate children under the age of 12.

Thanks so much to the Kings ppl, we had a great stay. There’s a drying room for gear, a lovely restaurant and they did a breakfast bagel to take away which filled me & kids up to dinner! A great place.

Thank you Daniel for a wonderful stay! The River Lodge is very cosy! We had such a wonderful stay! Dani was helpful and goes the extra mile to make his guests feel welcomed!

we had an amazing stay at the river lodge, The property is really beautiful and was easy to locate. The chalet was so nice and cozy. everything was far above what our expectations would be. Dani also serves breakfast in th morning between 7-9, and there is a spa pool on the property. we will be returning again! Thanks for the amazing service!

This was my first time at an AirBnB and Rudyard has set the bar extremely high. I was initially unsure about staying in a house with the host, but we were made to feel so welcome right from the get go. The house is very homely filled with Rudyards many antiques and travel souvineers, the bedroom had everything we needed and the bathroom was spotless. Our breakfasts were a huge highlight of our stay and kept us both full until dinner time. Rudyard is a wealth of local knowledge and we are so happy we chose to stay here. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Palmy.

Isabelle and Shane are lovely and the accomodation was also lovely as well!! Great area and great location. The place was clean and peaceful and everything ran smoothly! The only issue we had was that the room we stayed in got quite hot at night and there was so air conditioning/fan and when we opened the windows we got lots of mosquito bites, but other than that not a problem at all!
