Apartment vacation rentals in Randalls and Wards Islands

Really great spot for someone rolling solo who just needs a great place to crash in the evening. Rory was great, and she made everything very clear and easy. The room was very cozy, and honestly a lot nicer than I thought it would be. Great stay.

The location is perfect, a 10-minute walk from Central Park and 3 minutes from the subway that takes you anywhere in Manhattan in 15 minutes. The apartment is basic, a bit hot, but the hostess strives to make your stay super pleasant (she changed our pillows because they seemed very hard as soon as we told her) and let us leave our suitcases to enjoy the last day before going to the airport. It has a fridge in the room where they leave you complimentary food and drink, which is appreciated. The neighborhood is very nice and without any security problems. It's spacious and good value for money! Joo Hee is a 10-star Host!

Chris and Martha were very accommodating and kind, had great communication and quick response time. Their studio is small but had everything we needed, and it was neat and cozy, we would definitely stay again!

I stayed a week here by myself. The room, while not huge, was almost the same size as my son's hotel room in Times Square. The bathroom was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and is on an adjustable frame, which made sleeping much more enjoyable. Julia and John, and their daughter are beyond helpful and nice. I spent a few available hours just talking with them and getting to know their story. They are beautiful people. Access to the apartment is 1 block from a subway station. Very easy access. You are very close to some amazing paths and parks. Beautiful and quiet area. Close to restaurants, and even major grocery and retail stores are no more than a few streets away. I would definitely stay there again, if only to visit with Julia and John again.

We stayed here for 10 days and we couldn’t be happier with the apartment and location. Andy was super helpful and responded so quickly to all messages. He recommended local bus routes and luggage storage due to our flight being a little later than the checkout time. This gave us an extra day of exploring with now hassle. We highly recommend this stay. 25 min bus journey into Port Authority Bus Terminal… far enough away from the busy streets of NYC but close enough to get in and out all times of day and night. Incredible coffee spot at the end of the street which we visited almost daily. Whenever we come back to NYC we will be sure to stay here again.

Jesse was a great host — very helpful, quick to respond, and easy to reach at all times. The apartment is well located, and the room was spacious and clean, which we really appreciated. A couple of small things to note: we couldn’t figure out how to open the window (not sure if it was us or if the windows are fixed), and the shower had only a fixed shower head, which was a bit less convenient. The kitchen appeared clean, but the surfaces were quite sticky, which made it feel like they hadn’t been properly wiped down. The apartment is in Harlem; at first, the area near the subway felt a bit uncomfortable due to many homeless people around, but they were all harmless and we quickly got used to it. Overall, we had a good stay!

Anthony is the best host you can think of. He is kind, welcoming and replies promptly. The apartment is great: spacious, clean and cozy. Anthony‘s kitchen is even equipped with more than only the basics. The Metro is around 10-12 min away. I love Harlem and this is the perfect place to be. I can only recommend and hope to be back.

Very nice apartment and extremely clean! Overall, very comfy and well-equipped. The downside (but that´s on us and not Melissa!) was the location. Despite the fact that it´s possible to take the bus to the city center, we experienced this being a bit of a burden. The bus terminal in the center is not very easy to orientate yourself in when being there the first time, also staff has been rather unfriendly and not very willing to help. The bus transport costs 8$ per trip for 2 people. So we paid 16$ every day to commute back and forward between the apartment and the center. As said, we should have informed ourselves better prior to the stay, but we would not book this one again due to the commuting time. Especially during busy times (morning), the trip takes up to 1 hour one way and busses were extremely crowded from time to time with no seat available. We are young and did not mind too much but I would not recommend this for anyone struggling with that. But again, this is on us! :)

Beautiful apartment in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. Gorgeous restaurant downstairs, Patsys pizzeria. Short stroll to subway. Apartment was well equipped, spotlessly clean and catered for all our needs. Yue was a very responsive host and allowed us leave our baggage at the apartment both before check in and also after check out. Would highly recommend.

We had a comfortable stay at Alex's place for 2 nights . The staircase is steep with 13 steps in case you are accompanied by elders . There's no Washing machine , dryyer , dishwasher , weighing scale to weigh luggage if you are headed to Airport All this is mentioned in the instructions Thanks Alex

This place is hands down, one of the best Airbnbs that I’ve ever stayed in. The apartment was easy to find and looked just like the pictures. The unit is ground level however it is very quiet and you feel very safe. Everything was spotless and you can tell that Elgha takes great care of her property. Elgha is extremely responsive and very friendly. I highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to come back.

Dan & Jill’s home was beyond beautiful and comfy. It was very easy to find, private and felt safe. The inside of the home was more spacious than expected and extremely clean. The panoramic views from all windows was truly a treat. The hosts were very thoughtful and sweet. If you forgot to pack something, they most likely had it. Check in was smooth, stores/supermarket was a 3 min drive. 0 complaints and cannot wait to stay again!

An excellent place to stay in Harlem, centrally located near the 125th street subway station. You can easily get anywhere you want to go quick and easy. Lots of good restaurants nearby, along with bodegas and a (albeit expensive) grocery store. Its nice that the owners live on site, and they were very helpful and friendly. Having a big tub with jets in the room is a huge bonus if you aren't used to the amount of walking you are in for in NY. I'll definitely be back!

Everything about this apartment was excellent. Locale, layout, spotless. Couldn't get enough of both the daytime and nighttime views. Steven was an excellent host. Communicative, answered my myriad of questions, provided recommendations for a great nearby grocery and wine store that we frequented several times. Easy to get a taxi and a short walk to the subway. Started to feel like a local after just a day or so! This will for sure be our go-to place next time we visit NYC.

Nicely renovated basement apartment. Ben was a wonderful host and made our stay comfortable. Kitchen had everything that we needed and having a designated parking spot was great. It is a short walk away from the apartment. Backyard was ideal has we were traveling with our dog. Location was perfect for our event at Liberty State Park. Would recommend if you plan to visit Jersey City.

I had a great time staying here. A lovely and quiet retreat. Douglas and his family were very friendly and responsive to any needs I had. The place was tidy and clean and the grounds around the house were beautiful! Will definitely be back!

Wonderful place,enjoyed my stay

This was exactly what we needed for a quick visit to visit Stamford! It was easy to check in and plenty of room for 2 families with young kids. The backyard is private and fenced in for early morning coffee and dinner. The location is very close to a park with playground and it was easy to get to 95. Would definitely stay again!

My sister and I had a short overnight stay and we absolutely loved it! It’s such a cute place. It was just as described and perfect for the night. The host was very quick and responsive to our inquiries. The building is very easy to find and we felt safe with security in the building. The neighborhood is nice. The day of check out we walked around and ate at a local restaurants. We definitely will be back and recommend!
