We stopped for a night at Christine's whilst visiting Chester. She has a beautiful, quirky and clean home. The welcome was very warm and she was absolutely lovely. We took a bus to Chester (bus stop only 5 minutes walk from her home) so easy commute. She offered us a selection of simple breakfast treats in the morning which absolutely made our day. Highly recommended if you're looking for a budget stay in the area.

The house is in a good location just off the motorway (M53) and there is parking alongside which we found very convenient. In general, the house was very neat and tidy and in very good order. The kitchen was well-equipped and Mark had thoughtfully put milk in the fridge for us to use. There was also spacious lounge (communal area) complete with a large TV. Our room was perfect for our needs - a one-night stay - but on the small side.

Lovely comfortable rooms with everything you need. We had a little fridge, tv, hairdryer, kettle and tea and coffee. You have a bathroom to yourself and it has a great shower (bonus). Lisa and Dave are very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help us get back after we got stuck in Liverpool centre due to what happened at the end of the parade. We felt at home there and didn’t feel like we were intruding (even though you are technically in their house). The area seems nice-very leafy and there’s a couple of pubs and a good Indian restaurant nearby. Would definitely recommend. We loved their dog Rosa too-she needed a mention!

Caroline is a friendly thoughtful helpful host, she went out of her way to make me comfortable & happy! Unfortunately I arrived a few hrs late due to travel delays, + phone issues, she kindly waited for me/and put a key out. The room is lovely comfy, quiet with a beautiful view! A great location for walking into town / or the train station. Hoylake is a lovely place, hope to be back one day. Enjoy your next NZ trip :) Many thanks. Best wishes, Anna

Had a very pleasant and comfortable stay with Joyce. Her place was very convenient, tidy and well placed for transport links to Liverpool city centre. Great value, and I would not hesitate to book again next time I am in Liverpool!
