Save your self the trouble spending hours researching where to stay in the Smokies. This location is a perfect proximity to where ever you decide to venture off too. The property itself is stunning to say the least! The thought out decor, details, layout, and craftsmanship was much appreciated. You’ll love sitting out on the balcony overlooking the Smokies listening to sounds of nature around you. The furniture inside is very cozy, you’ll get plenty good rest between adventures. The kitchen is well stocked with all the tools needed for your kitchen/bbq grill creations. The hosts were amazing, and quick to respond to anything you may need before and during your stay. We had a wonderful family time at Parker’s cabin. Has everything you may need to enjoy your time in the secluded woods of NC. Very private but with all the amenities you may need. Internet was good and the place very comfortable. It was quite rainy during our stay but we had no issues staying in and enjoying the hot tub from time to time. Would fully recommend this place to any one. Thank you Parker!

Stunning views! If you are wanting to get away and just relax this is an amazing option while still being close to Bryson City where all the white water rafting is. Very peaceful and wonderful home! Main bed was very comfortable, great kitchen for cooking and our dogs enjoyed it as well. Would definitely come back.

We loved our stay at Alpine Retreat! It was cozy and peaceful with a beautiful view. The bed was super comfortable and we loved relaxing in the hot tub after exploring the area. It was simple to get to town. Could be walkable but it’s a pretty big hill, the drive and parking were easy!

Peaceful, private wooden oasis. We enjoyed seeing all the deer in the area. We felt it was a great location right between all the mountain towns, great for finding hiking locations, parks, museums, and great restaurants. Then spending our nights in a cozy private cabin in the woods, playing games and having family movie nights or siting on the porch enjoying the rain & lighting show.

Unbelievable cabin!! I took my wife here to celebrate her 40th and reconnect from a busy life with three kids and opposite schedules. Words are not enough to describe how amazing our stay was. Farm fresh eggs, a fire ready to start, and even a special literary surprise were just a few of the little touches that brought our stay to another level. Thomas and Mallory were always available, checked in on us to make sure our stay was smooth and provided wonderful recommendations for the area. We hated leaving but cannot wait to return one day!

Beautiful, peaceful home with spectacular views! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. It was a perfect place for our family getaway.

This private, peaceful cottage in the woods was absolutely adorable. Conveniently located to Tallulah Gorge and downtown Clayton, we found lots to do and then came back to the cabin and enjoyed sitting on the back porch listening to the rain fall. We were very impressed with how clean, comfortable, and cozy everything was. Thanks for sharing with us. We hope to return.

The cabin is cozy, tucked away in beautiful wooded area. Kitchen was clean and well stocked. Our dogs loved their long walks away from the city. Will visit again..

One of the most scenic rentals out there! We had a perfect stay at Wayne’s place. Instructions on how to get to the cabin were very clear and GPS surprisingly took us right to the front door. You get incredible privacy but only 20 minutes to get into town if you need anything. Would absolutely return here!

It was a gorgeous stay. The host was very responsive, as well as flexible, giving us a tour of the area upon arrival. The location was gorgeous and peaceful. Highly recommend!!

I wish I could keep this place a secret because of how incredibly beautiful and secluded it is. You feel like you’ve stepped into a fairy tale, and Hal’s unique touches make the place inviting and special all at the same time. Our trip was filled with rainy weather, but there’s something magical about sitting by the tabletop fire pit on the screened in porch while watching the rain and the river flow by. This is the first airbnb I’ve ever stayed where I knew I wanted to come back.

Ashlie's place is a relaxing quiet retreat in the woods. The cabin was a great place to chill out and decompress. I would describe it as a cozy cabin. Check in was a breeze with clear instructions provided.

5 Stars! Beautiful location, waterfall is actually located right outside the patio with a creek flowing by. The view is incredible. The house itself is so welcoming and comfortable that I truly felt as if I was a friend’s house. I totally recommend and plan on going back for a longer stay. Hosts were responsive and helpful. This is the most amazing place to get away from the hustle and bustle and unwind. My dog and I particularly love that it’s dog friendly, which allows me to get out for hikes in Nantahala with her in tow. The cabin is full of amazing books, puzzles and board games. I loved the feeling of unplugging for a little while (though there is internet if you need it)

Staying at Jennifer’s mountain retreat was truly a magical experience. From the moment we booked, Jennifer was incredibly responsive, kind, and thoughtful, making the entire process smooth and welcoming. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and convenient. The cabin itself was mesmerizing..honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. It’s even more beautiful in person. Every detail of the space felt mindfully designed, and the peaceful mountain views were exactly what we were hoping for. We especially loved the little touches like the hummingbirds visiting the feeder, the incredibly cozy fireplace on the deck, and the charming bee-themed decor. The bed was super comfortable, the linens were spotless, and the overall atmosphere was calming and rejuvenating. This place is a true sanctuary in nature, and I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you, Jennifer, for creating such a beautiful and memorable space! PS: Your honey is incredibly delicious. A must buy!

I loved that it was not as sterile as some places. Hillary added a few extra touches...tea bags, eggs, cookies, condiments and there were a few spices and olive oil (though I brought my own), making it feel more like a home. The furniture was very comfortable and the location is beautiful.

This is a super cute, very quaint cabin and was exactly as described. We especially enjoyed watching the beautiful horse wander around his pasture and come up for treats would highly recommend.

Julie's place never disappoints as this is our 3rd year staying there & already booked for our 4th. Everything is spotless, we feel some comfy & cozy. I love sitting & listening to the wild life & stream in back.

One of the most peaceful settings I have ever experienced. There is nothing else around but nature , mountains and quiet. A few miles up the road from a several of my favorite hikes in the south. Wonderful time.

We fell in love with the home and area right away from the moment we pulled into the driveway. The house is absolutely adorable and the secluded property makes it even more special. We are from Florida, so having a real fire is something I miss coming from Virginia. The kitchen had all the amenities that we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. Highly recommend this beautiful property. Close to trails and downtown Clayton. We were lucky to meet some neighbors and they were super friendly. Will definitely return again.

This is the perfect setting for getting some quiet time. Also, close to all shopping. Visited Black Mountain. Just a 2 minute rise. I strongly recommend this get-away for a couple. Or, a couple with 2 children. Warning…. Please use caution when using the steps to the upstairs. Maureen states this in her message.

Eagles Nest was a great place for my 8 member family to get together for Memorial Day. The location is on the top of the mountain and the views are incredible.
