Welcome to the forest home! Our house is located at almost 1000 meters above sea level on the edge of the forest in the climatic health resort of Semmering. We have 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen on a total of about 320 m². NEW: Free shuttle throughout the stay for all major destinations in the surrounding area. Therefore, arrival and stay also possible purely by public transport! The nearest ski resort (with ample parking) is 5 km away. For kids we have a well-equipped playroom.

Our house is located at 830 m above sea level in the well known climatic health resort Reichenau - it is the last house on the walking path onto the Rax. This modern cabin is located in the Semmering UNESCO world heritage area of Semmering. The first mountain railway in the world was built 1854 and is still in service. You have stunning views from the house, constantly you can observe the changing moods of nature and see how light is sculpting the rocks and ridges of the Atlitzgraben. One feels like being included in a painting of Caspar David Friedrich... There are plenty of possibilities for walking, skiing and mountain biking.

We, the Hofer family, warmly welcome you to our vacation home on our organic farm in Kirchberg am Wechsel. Our farm is located in the Bucklige Welt at the foot of the Wechsel directly at the so-called Molzkreuzung. This vacation home, which was built by our ancestors around 1880, has been completely renovated by us from 2022 to 2024 in loving handwork inside and out. This 100 year old wooden house is surrounded on 3 sides by forest and offers a wonderful view of the Rax. The south-facing, sunny view extends from the Rax to the Preiner Gschaid. The house has a heating with two Swedish stoves, which are able to heat the entire house. A modern kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator (with freezer) and induction cooker completes the basic equipment. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature.
