We had a great stay at Brandybuck Cottage - cosy and quirky describes it perfectly! A lovely peaceful location, tucked down the little lane - it was very relaxing to wake to the sound of birds singing in the morning. Mountsorrel is a perfect location to explore the surrounding areas - we managed to fit in a wander around the beautiful Bradgate Park, a trip to Stonehurst Farm, meal out at The Waterside Inn (kids loved the bouncy castle!), couple of drinks at Wilfred Pinsent & Grandson (conveniently located at the bottom of the lane!) and then caught the final day of the 1940s weekend at Quorn steam railway before we went home! Lucie’s cottage has everything you could need for a relaxing break away - it was clean and well equipped with comfortable beds and the wonderful addition of outside space with the terrace and secret garden! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there 😊

Very pretty hamlet almost connected to Loughborough. Convenient to the university but in a quiet rural location . The loft was great and just what we wanted. Clean and comfortable.

We had a great stay at Paul's house. We found everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The house is very well equipped and the surroundings are peaceful. There was always space to park in front of the house. The weather was warm, so we were able to enjoy the beautiful garden full of flowers. Paul was always proactive and very responsive whenever we needed anything. We totally recommend staying at his place!

What a great cottage in a lovely village. Beautifully kept and very comfortable. We appreciated the chance to relax for a few days. Rachel was organised with instructions beforehand, and so thoughtful in the "extras" she left for us. Thank you!
