Built on the structure of an old shed, our house is rustic and cozy, made with lots of glass, wood, stones and decorated with furniture and objects produced by artisans from the region. You can swim in a crystal-clear river, play volleyball, tennis, go hiking, barbecue and cook on the wood stove. Your stay in our little paradise will be unforgettable. The house is impeccable and impresses in every detail. Excellent bed and bath linens, super well-equipped kitchen, clean and beautiful rooms and the outdoor area is even better than in the listing! Tiago, the caretaker, was very attentive and made us feel very comfortable! We felt completely at home and will definitely come back!

Very nice and super cozy place. Surroundings with breathtaking scenery. About the house: just like the listing, with a very well-equipped kitchen, blankets, towels, all very clean and fragrant that withstand the cold well and the whole house well maintained. The only problem is the road, which is unpaved and a bit tricky for inexperienced drivers, but nothing that prevents you from getting there if you drive slowly and carefully. Mrs. Nadir who received us was very friendly, receptive and helpful.

It exceeded our expectations, cozy atmosphere and amazing surroundings! We felt at home, hosts Ana Paula and Rodrigo were totally attentive and proactive, they seem like our old friends. We also had the security of the puppy Simba, who accompanied us to all the waterfalls and escorted us. We indicate a lot and we will be back for sure.

An amazing view. The house is very comfortable. A find at Airbnb. Perfect place for dating and resting. The caretaker is not on the property, but whatever you need, he'll come quickly. One very thoughtful person. Everything works perfectly. The internet is very good. We'll be back soon again.

We were delighted to spend wonderful days at Sítio São João da Colina, a simply magnificent place! The environment is extremely clean, cozy and quiet, with an exuberant view that delighted us at every moment. The service provided by Isaias and Dani was exceptional, both are super attentive and hospitable, making our stay even more special. Mr. João and Mrs. Gonçalina are people with a good soul, who welcomed us with great affection. Waking up in this paradise, with the birds singing and the cows mooing, was like listening to a dazzling symphony! The access road is easy to get to, making the visit even easier. Without a doubt, it was one of the best experiences we've ever had. We recommend it without a doubt to anyone looking for a haven of peace and natural beauty! Thank you, Isaias and Dani, for giving us wonderful days! See you soon!!!!!

Our stay at Refugio Alka was great! Aline and Kaique welcomed us very well, and answered all our questions. They also helped us get to know the region, taking us to visit nearby waterfalls and Itatiaia Park. The house is charming, completely renovated and with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We felt at home and intend to return soon.
