We had a great experience staying at Todd's charming red school house. It was very clean, cozy and comfortable. We were three adults and one dog and it was more than spacious enough for all of us. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, the beds are super comfortable, TV screen nice and big and easy to use, fast wifi, and climate control was easy to use and responsive (which was important to us as we needed heat on this unseasonably cold Memorial Day weekend!). Our dog absolutely loved exploring the lush grassy spaces outside and the screened in gazebo is a really nice touch. Such a peaceful location in the countryside but just minutes drive to downtown Glens Falls. Parking couldn't have been easier - you can pull your car right up to the front door. We highly recommend staying here!

Thoroughly enjoyed it perfect thank you so much for the extras that hardly any Airbnb provides! My husband says thank you so much for all the wood you provided it saved him from hauling it. We left our kayaks in North Carolina because they would make too much noise however we were surprised to find kayaks and fishing poles available for renters! You really should put that in your ad, may have been the decision point that we would’ve chosen for you It would be nice if all Airbnb were as accommodating as you guys were . based on the extras ! Hopefully nobody in the future takes advantage of you.

Paul provided clear and detailed instructions, making check-in a breeze. Although the official check-in time was 4 PM, he kindly reached out around noon on the day of our arrival to let us know the house was ready early—a thoughtful and accommodating gesture, even though we arrived after 4. The home is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, and the outdoor space is equally impressive—peaceful and well-maintained. It's set back perfectly from the road, offering plenty of privacy while still being conveniently close to local attractions. A great balance of comfort, style, and location!

The apartment is cozy and lovely! My mom and sister visited for my graduation and it was amazing for their 1-week stay. I was initially worried that the property will be a bit noisy at night because it is in a busy area, but it was actually neatly tucked in behind a closed business — really private and quiet. Kim is also very responsive as a host!

The Yellow Door Inn was exactly what I needed for my little getaway from the craziness of my life!! You are surrounded by art, and comfort that is difficult to find. I felt at peace the moment I arrived and my doggos also loved the large yard and access to the Salem Art Works!! Klara and Greg are great hosts, they responded very quickly and were so so kind to me during my stay. If you are staying in Salem, I would 1000% recommend the Yellow Door Inn. You will not regret it! I know I will most definitely be back next time I stay in the area. It was hard for me to leave and head back home, because I felt I was already home…

We had an excellent stay at Jills. The space was very clean and well equipped with everything needed. The Hot tub was very enjoyable. Jill was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to assure our stay was great!

Had a great stay at Joe’s place. Check in instructions were very clear. Place was exactly as described. Joe’s communication was great. Nice location! Would highly recommend!

Had an excellent stay at Keith’s place! Everything was clean and as described. Keith even reached out to us to let us know we can check in early if we wanted. It’s literally 2mins from Skidmore which is the reason we were there and I couldn’t recommend it more. Will be back when we are in town again.

This was perfect spot to stay with our 1 dog who got to go swim in the river, you can bring a kayak go fishing then unwind in a full kitchen and living room. There is no bedroom but it worked perfectly for us. In the morning I took my dog to the fenced in area where she was able to run around safely ! If you love the outdoors but need to go to the city I highly recommend. It's about 25 min to airport and malls and colonie mall and hobby lobby is pet friendly ;)

We had a wonderful weekend at Lake George. The cabin was so cozy and homey, and we loved the firepit outside. Scott was a great host, quick and helpful communication, and was super flexible with check-in/check-out. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back sometime!!

We visited the Hyde-O-Way for a friend's birthday weekend, looking for a quiet getaway to spend time together as pals. We had a wonderful three nights at Kristina's place, which was quiet and private and surrounded by gorgeous scenery. We found the house cozy, clean, and well-appointed both inside and out. Kristina's instructions were super clear and easy to follow and we felt secure having her at hand for any questions that might have come up. We enjoyed ourselves so greatly that we intend on coming back again, potentially annually. If you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful little place to enjoy nature and make memories with friends, then you'd be hard-pressed to find a nicer location.

A truly magical experience to live in the trees. Igor’s place was a warm and cozy place actually nestled amongst the trees. Any view looked out into the trees and even on a rainy weekend, we enjoyed the sounds, the smells, and all the nature that surrounded us. We even got to use the wood stove which helped keep the chill outside. (Thank goodness all those skills came back to me from childhood) Thank you so much for hosting us and we highly recommend to all.

We had a great stay! The cabin is exactly as described and perfect for those traveling with dogs. The location was close to all the activities, but felt private. We hope to return.

We had a wonderful stay. We weren't at the cabin much during the day as we were out and about, but when we were there it was peaceful and great. We loved visits from the very friendly dogs. We also had some fun walking around the ponds and kayaking in them. The instructions to arrive at the cabin we very clearance easy to find. I would recommend this cabin!
