Amazing villa with a great location. Provided extra touches like pool side inflatables and a complimentary bottle of wine - great host!

We spent 5 nights in Mariana's cottage and felt very comfortable there. A small oasis of calm. We were able to make good use of the outdoor lighting, especially the pool. There were enough different areas. The private terrace on the first floor was lovely and private. We only used the kitchen for breakfast, as there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We'd come back.

We had a fantastic stay! The house is even more beautiful in person—bright, spacious, and very well-equipped. The view is stunning and the area is super calm, perfect for relaxing. Plenty of towels were available, the sofa bed was large and very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor amenities were a big plus: the pool was top-notch, the BBQ area was great, and we loved having access to the padel court and ping pong table. The location was ideal—easy to get Ubers and close to everything. The host was extremely responsive and kind, even allowing us a flexible checkout until 1pm and going out of his way to get us an additional coffee machine to match our Dolce Gusto pods. A few minor downsides: there was only one key for the group, which wasn’t always convenient, some door handles were a bit fragile, and the automatic watering system occasionally caught us by surprise. Overall, highly recommended—great value, great place, and a wonderful host!

Lovely and peaceful stay and a perfect location to explore the amazing area in and around Tavira, a truly underrated part of the Algarve. The house is perfect for a small family. Very chilled, off the beaten path. Great stay and super easy!

Antonio was a brilliant host to deal with from day 1. He was always quick to respond and very helpful with all questions asked. Check in and check out was so quick and easy. Antonio gave clear instructions on getting to the property. The property itself was exactly as advertised. The property was so clean, spacious and included a lot of utilities. The garden had plenty of room to relax in and a really nice clean pool. The area itself was quiet, peaceful and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The neighbours were very friendly also. I would highly recommend Antonio as a host and his beautiful villa! Will definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay in Vilamoura! The villa was spacious, and perfect for our group of 16 (8 adults and 8 kids). It’s a good location and easy to walk to the marina. Carlos was a great host. We would definitely return!

We have just finished a week staying at this town house situated in a very convenient part of Quarteria. Regina was there to meet, greet and welcome us (one couple and 2 singles - all cycling for the week). The house is very clean, comfortable with all facilities in full working order. There is a great roof top terrace adjacent to the top floor double room with ensuite shower. Whilst we ate out every day after cycling, we all used the terrace for breakfast and coffee/tea breaks. A great sunny position with comfortable chairs on which to relax. Regina provided us with a secure locking area for bikes about 5 minutes away and that was really useful. The house is within easy walking distance of the sandy beaches, supermarkets, bars and cafes. If you're looking for a comfortable, clean accommodation within walking distance of all the usual amenities then you won't go wrong in choosing this place. It is in a residential area and we heard no noises or traffic during our stay.

Lagos was a beautiful place and this Airbnb made exploring it easy. The location is ideal and the street is quiet. The apartment looks like the photos and was well decorated but without clutter, and comfortable. It was very clean which is so important to me. Hosts were extremely responsive and kind from start to finish. Easy checkin with lockbox. Would recommend to others.

Beautiful clean place tucked into a community about a 5min walk from downtown

We loved our stay at the villa. The garden & the views were amazing. It was perfect for children. The pool had gate, a big plus for security. We liked that there was the possibility to heat the pool (we went end of April - beginning of May). The dining area outside was so nice. The kitchen was fully equipped. The interior design was spotless. Modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, with an authentic feel. You need a car to get around. Everything was close by (5-10 min by car) : beaches, restaurant, supermarket, etc. The host were super responsive. To sum it up : it’s a perfect place for a family vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in the heart of Lagos Old Town. We really appreciated how clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed the space was. It felt both stylish and comfortable. The location couldn’t be better: walking distance to everything (restaurants, beaches, coffee shops, local retail), yet tucked away enough to feel quiet and relaxing. Private parking was a huge bonus, especially in the busy town center, and the private pool was a lovely way to unwind at the end of the day. The hosts, especially Carmo, were incredibly responsive and provided clear instructions that made check-in seamless. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-appointed home base in Lagos.

Such a great place. Group of 12 ranging from 18months to 65+ and it was perfect for our group. Basil was super helpful and responsive. Location is quiet and peaceful.

We really loved the villa however we did feel that our freedom was limited slightly with the decibel meter in the living space which meant that we were actually too worried to even put a film on at the end of the day in case our stay was forfeited due to high noise levels, which was extremely clear was the case at check in, and on signs within the living space. The decibel meter is set to 55 which is that of a very quiet conversation and this did put us on edge each evening, which ideally we would not like during a relaxing holiday.

We enjoyed a very relaxing and easy 7 days at Marie's house. The place is stunning, even more so than the pictures, and the effort that has gone into maintaining it is evident. Marie was always responsive when we had any questions either about the house or the local area, and waited to meet us after our late night flight, so we wouldn't miss the turning for the house. Getting into Tavira is super easy, the only consideration is that the driveway of the house is long and very bumpy. You don't need a 4x4 or anything, but it was a bit of a surprise the first time we got there! Would very much recommend this place and the local area. Merci, Marie!

We had a great week at Philippe’s place. The apartment had everything we needed and was in a great spot to explore Olhão. The roof terrace gets the sun from Midday and was a lovely place to enjoy a meal and a drink in the evening. Philippe was nothing but helpful and we’d stay again if ever back in town!

We travelled to Portugal for a friends wedding. We stayed at Michael’s villa with our 15 month old baby and our mother and grandmother. The accommodation was well equipped. Michael supplied us with a travel cot and high chair. The location was great , but unless you have a car, taxis/ubers are wise. We used Ubers which were reasonably priced. Michael was very responsive and helpful. The pool and restaurant were ideal location and owner was very welcoming. However only recommendation would be that the pool receives some TLC as some loose tiles and cracked patio surrounding the pool which could be dangerous (not down to Michael.) overall would stay again and would highly recommend. Uta's place is magical. Set up high, it overlooks a small village to the south and the sprawling sera to the north. The surroundings are peaceful, away from the tourist bustle of coast. The casa itself is beautifully appointed. All of the practical things are just as they should be (great dinnerware; comfy beds; plenty of sitting areas) and, beyond this, the place is aesthetically joyous. Plenty of art and other thoughtful touches, carefully curated, that make it so inviting. Surrounding the casa are small pathways walled with verdant plant life. The whole place is clearly a labour of love. Uta is a responsive and thoughtful host. We liked it here so much we immediately booked for a longer stay next year. One of the very best places we've ever found on Airbnb.
