Authentic renovated stone house with beautiful views

We had a wonderful time at Dorthe and Niels‘ house. The location is lovely, very remote and quiet. Highly recommend the bathing spots nearby and the Market in Fivizzano on a Tuesday. We did three trips to the sea side in total, Portovenere, Lido Lerici (bit crowded) and spaggia fiumarella (public beach right at the end with amazing views onto the massa carrara mountains). It’s the perfect place if you want the option to do sea side and touristy things whilst also wanting to experience remote country side living. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, it was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfy. The view from the balcony is unparalleled. Dorthe has been amazing at communicating and everything was super clear. And Sonia, who greeted us and showed us in, was so sweet. This was the perfect holiday- thank you Dorthe and Niels!
A peaceful outdoor area features a rustic wooden table and benches, surrounded by lush greenery and colorful flowers. An umbrella provides shade, while a curtain flutters gently in the breeze. Rolling hills are seen in the background under a partly cloudy sky.

The "small" independent cottage

PatrickRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Relaxed in Debora's cottage. After some search to find the cottage, we were warmly welcomed by her. The tranquility and the view is wonderful! The only thing that started boring us (city guys) after a week is 20 minutes drive to get to the supermarket. But you get a lot of beautiful views and nature in return. Furthermore, Debora is happy to help with problems and has super nice tips about hidden gems nearby. Debora Thank you!
A charming outdoor view is captured beneath a natural reed roof, showcasing rolling green hills and distant mountains under soft sunlight. A hanging lantern adds an intimate touch to the terrace, inviting relaxation and connection with nature.

Mareschal's Tuscany

SueRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We've stayed here three times now. From the very first visit they became family. On the second visit they invited is to a family dinner outside in the garden to welcome home other family. Honestly, you couldn't experience the love and care of this town in the same way anywhere else. Bacci a tutti e ci vediamo fra poco.
A lush landscape features a variety of green foliage on a hillside, with sparse trees and dense underbrush. A bright blue sky peeks through the clouds, creating an inviting atmosphere that emphasizes the natural beauty of the surrounding area.

Super cozy and clean apartment, perfectly matching the photos and description. Clean sheets on the bed and towels provided for guests. Clear directions for accessing the property. Since we were on a motorcycle, the host allowed us to park the vehicle inside the courtyard of the house.

Land of Portovenere - The House above the Castle

MaryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Francesca and her kind family have created a once-in-a-lifetime, soul-grounding experience in this beautifully restored 14th-century hillside retreat in Portovenere. We loved every minute of our six-night stay. From the mind-blowing views and steep, invigorating hikes to romantic evenings sipping homemade, earthy concoctions thoughtfully left for us—it was pure magic. We were welcomed with fragrant bundles of fresh lemons, rosemary, sage, and thyme, a gesture that set the tone for the care and warmth we felt throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making our rest as memorable as our adventures. We especially loved our daily rocky hike down to the charming village, and one day we even rented a dinghy to explore the surrounding islands—an unforgettable way to soak in the coastal beauty. This place is beyond gorgeous—truly a slice of heaven.

Very nice place in the middle of the mountain. The restaurant offers dinner in the evening with local products, and their party, good quality. Convenient because the property is a little isolated in a quiet and pretty location. Thank you for your hospitality and attention.

Typical Tuscan farmhouse near Cinque Terre

Josephine And StewartRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Anna was an exceptional host, she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a success even though it was only a 1 night stay. She was so kind as to also organise a collection to her place and then drive us to the station herself the very next day. The accommodation was beautiful and extremely tasteful in its styling and appearance in every way. In addition it was also remarkably clean. We would definitely stay again and recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful retreat in beautiful surroundings.
