This fully equipped cottage has a BBQ on the private deck, as well as easy access to all the resort has to offer; indoor pool, hot tub, gym, plus spa & café on site & Riptide Lagoon Mini Golf next door. Walk a few minutes to our private beach where you can play in the sand strip, beachcomb for geoducks, crabs and starfish , watch sea life or use the firepits. Explore the many hiking trails, lakes, golf courses or walk to Bowser Village for coffee and shopping. Our cottage has it all! Heather Cottage - Beautiful Wetland Views

Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

We are a few minutes walk to Sunny Beach Road, a favourite beach spot amongst locals. A cafe, pub, ice cream shop, and many nature trails are all just a short walk away. The cottage is equipped with a queen size bed. A fold out cot is available for a 3rd guest.
