Cabin vacation rentals in Qualicum Beach

Stayed here with some friends for a weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The cabin was beautiful and the perfect size for the four of us. It had everything we needed and the host even provided delicious baked goods, eggs, milk and more. The backyard hot tub and bbq were great. The host was extremely communicative and so lovely to deal with. Will definitely be coming back the next chance I get!

Ekta and Peter are such wonderful hosts! It was a birthday weekend getaway to Hornby Island for some mountain biking and relaxing. They both provided great recommendations and even visited their stall at the Saturday market. Ekta checked in with us to make sure we made both ferry times :). The trails were a five minute bike ride away and the hot tub under the stars was a real treat. The Purple Door Cabin was a peaceful, quaint, and quiet spot tucked in the back of their lovely property. We also loved the greeting from Wyatt the cat when we arrived. Would definitely return!

This was a fabulous rental, it was perfect in every way. Every step of this booking was just a great experience, the host was so friendly and fun to chat with and thought of everything a traveller might need. All of the instructions were clear and well thought out, everything was as expected if not better, the place was spotlessly clean and everything was provided for. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, I hope we will get a chance to enjoy your hospitality again, it made for such an enjoyable trip! Thank you so much!

This was the perfect peaceful getaway spot. There was lots of natural lighting through all the windows but tucked away so you get plenty of privacy. The hot tub and BBQ are also perfectly placed so you get your own space. Loved all the personalities of all the farm animals as well! The Airbnb was exactly as listed and had everything needed. Would love to stay here again if in the area!

The cottage was great for our family of 5! Equipped with beach towels, toys, and even a mini cooler - this makes beach going easy. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the beds and sofa beds were all comfy! Thanks so much for a great stay!

A fantastic cabin in a beautiful, peaceful setting, with great hosts. The cabin has a stunning modern interior with unique and thoughtful touches everywhere you look. The surrounding property and forest are welcoming and serene. The ocean view from both the cabin and hot tub is wonderful. The hosts were responsive, helpful, and effective communicators. Check in was simple and straightforward. I would highly recommend a stay at the cabin for a peaceful getaway.

The Funky Bunky is a lovely little cabin, very quiet and private. There’s amenities to make the stay smooth and simple, and the river right next to us was very pleasant to watch and listen to. Carol and Danny were very gracious hosts, very responsive and had everything we needed. Will be back again

Our family loved our stay here. Leah is the kindest and most welcoming of hosts. The cabin’s location was perfect for us, close enough to family gatherings in Courtenay but in such a serene place we could unwind in the evenings and enjoy walks surrounded by huge cedars to the beach for the beautiful sunsets. Very dog friendly and we just adored meeting Timber and loving on her too. It was so perfect!

Raquel’s cozy guest house made our two night stay a relaxing getaway. It’s a convenient location not far from the ferry and amenities in town but feels a world away from Vancouver, waking up to the sounds of the countryside. The house is well renovated with amazing light and everything you need in the kitchen. Raquel was a great host, making us feel very welcome, accommodating us and communicating extensively when we had some issues with ferry travel. Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed our 6-day stay at this cottage. It was quiet and peaceful, and very comfortable. It was also well-located for our explorations. The kitchen is well-equipped, including a good assortment of herbs and spices. We also appreciated having plenty of towels. The long-stay neighbours are friendly and helpful, including giving us information about the area. The binder in the cottage was also useful for this. A couple of tips for future guests: - the coffee maker is a Keurig, so bring pods if you want to use it - if you use the coat-hooks on the wall behind the cottage door, remember to check them before you leave - easy to not think of it in the flurry of packing up and leaving :-)

I spent three days on the Sunshine Coast and stayed at this charming little Airbnb with my partner, and we were absolutely blown away. The place is super cute, cozy, and just a 10-minute drive from the ferry. Coralie is an incredibly kind and welcoming host who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It was such a relief to leave Vancouver behind for a bit and reconnect with nature. Being surrounded by forest with a view of the ocean was truly something special. The cabin is small, but thoughtfully designed and perfectly laid out, everything you need is right there. What really made the experience magical was the sound of the nearby river. It created the most peaceful atmosphere and helped me completely unwind and sleep like a baby. Highly recommend this little heaven, I’m already dreaming of coming back.

Tania’s cabin felt like going home, but with the added bonus of being located on a beautiful, private section of lake overlooking provincial park land. We couldn’t have asked for a better location to enjoy the lake and nearby trail systems. Directly behind the cabin is a steep, paved pathway down to the dock and beach - both were hands down the highlight of our stay - spacious and set up for relaxing, while also acting as a launch point for paddle boards and kayaks. The cabin was also incredibly comfortable for our dogs - Tania added thoughtful touches just for them including comfy beds, treats, and towels. I especially appreciated the large, working grill on the back deck overlooking the water. This made meal prep easy and an absolute joy. We will be back!

Loved staying over at Blair and Christinas place! Quiet area, beautiful views, responsive hosts and overall a very welcoming place. Thank you again for hosting us, we will be returning:)

Beautiful location!! Talk about waterfront, you are literally on top of the water 😊 We saw many seals and otters, geese and even Eagles on the beach eating their fish. The sound of the waves and the ocean lapping on the rocks… and the refreshing scent of the beautiful ocean air. The caretakers, Tani and her Husband were very nice and accommodating. Shiney Happy People! Thank you so much, we really enjoyed celebrating our 15 Year Anniversary at your piece of Heaven. The cabin is also very well equipped and nicely decorated!

We had a lovely girls weekend at Jane’s beautiful home. The view is stunning and Jane’s home is so comfortable and clean. Soft linens, beautifully decorated and she really had thought of everything to make your stay a 5 star experience. The beach out front is magical! Totally recommended!

Not only is the Cabin beautiful, clean, private (as the pictures show), but Tanya is an exceptional host. She truly is the best we’ve ever seen. My wife and kid (<2yrs old) had a wonderful, peaceful and exciting time. We loved it here and will be back soon! The property is beautiful. We saw 2 bears and I was able to do some fly fishing. Wow! To top it all off, Tanya and her husband Ty gave us a tour of their Dairy Farm. We saw the cows up close which was really exciting for all of us. We even got to feed the calves a bottle of milk. Absolutely above and beyond what’s expected. Thank you Tanya and family for a great long weekend filled with new memories and experiences that we’ll reflect on for years. We had a great time in this cozy cabin with bear and cat around the corner. We appreciated the lots of arts inside and around the house. Beach is nearby and it was really silent.

Kim’s place on the beach was exactly what the doctor ordered, quiet, peaceful and private, well appointed with a pile of extras that were beyond expectations but deeply appreciated. Beds were comfy and the place was impeccably clean on arrival. The deck had an awesome view of the ocean and there was abundant wildlife present, we had an excellent stay, the only complaint was that we didn’t book for longer… will definitely book a stay again, feeling like this might be the new favorite spot….

You can really feel the care and love Patricia put into this place. It’s more than just a stay — it’s an experience. A must-visit if you want to truly slow down and feel the beauty of life.

One of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had! Francine was incredibly welcoming and warm from the moment we arrived. We were on the Island for our daughter’s Convocation, and Francine surprised us with a bottle of wine to celebrate—a thoughtful and personal gesture that truly meant a lot to us. The space was private, cozy, and exceptionally comfortable. Every little detail was taken care of, and everything we needed was right at our fingertips. The setting was peaceful and rural, yet perfectly located—no more than 15 minutes from anywhere we needed to be. We felt completely at home and are already looking forward to staying with Francine again on future visits. Highly recommended!
