“It was an incredible getaway for all seven of us girls wanting a relaxing weekend away, in celebration of our girlfriend getting hitched soon. The sunset views were amazing, and the house was filled with everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend making the hike up to pyramid hill for more spectacular views! Thanks Wendy and Cheryl for your efficient communication.”
Step into nature in your own secluded railway carriage in the Australian bush. Let the lagoon rewild your senses ( due to drought the lagoon is currently dry) and chill out in retro style. Off grid, hidden away and a gem of an experience, come take some time out. No hum of the city, just kangaroos hopping past, birds singing and frogs harmonising with each other.
“Fabulous place to experience the nature and country lifestyle! The carriage is well furnished with everything required to stay comfortably. Tuesday and Harry are super friendly and attentive. The code red fire danger alert was announced in the region on one of the day during my stay. They were there to look after me and help me to evacuate to a safe place. Thank you very much! I felt so refresh and energised after the visit. Definitely worth a bit of travelling time to get to here!”
This little mudbrick house is off the grid located on a secluded bush block, 18 acres of natural wildlife and peace and quiet. Comfortably sleeps a couple, a home away from home.
“A lovely little place with everything needed. Do yourself a favour and go to the local pub for the best parmas known to man. Then come back, kick back, enjoy the serenity under the stars. If you leave the bedroom blinds open you can be awoken by the most glorious sunrise through the trees. Overall a fantastic getaway. We even came back with some honey from the local apiarist which is delicious. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer.”
