Sam and Nilu are great hosts and they were attentive to us and provided us with everything we've asked. He was always around for us to ask any questions about any tips. They have gone beyond and done everything to give us a good experience for our little holiday. I can't highly recommend them enough.

Alojamiento muy tranquilo, a pie de laguna, personal muy atento y amigable.

J'ai eu la chance de passer 2 semaines dans cet hôtel. Je résume : - une chambre vue mer + piscine incroyable ( il me semble que toute leur chambre ont cette vue) - un service très correct avec un staff qui s'assure que tout aille au mieux pour vous - nourriture très bonne même si j'ai trouvé un peu cher - chambre nickel avec tout ce qu'il faut et une salle de bain rénové et plutôt classe. Je pense que cet hôtel mériterait 3 hôtels avec un peu de rénovation extérieur mais ils ont l'essentiel, a savoir le cadre, un jardin bien entretenu et agréable, une piscine propre, le son des vagues quand on s'endort est juste magique...on s'en lasse pas. Un hôtel avec beaucoup de potentiel. J'espère pouvoir revenir dans cet hôtel un jour si j'ai l'occasion. Merci à tout le staff du sanmali pour ces 2 semaines magiques !

beautiful resort , a friendly and a warm host Mr Venu .. being a solo traveller vacationing , Mr Venu and his team ensured I was taken care of well even in terms of my safety .. the service is impeccable and the view from the lagoon is amazing.. I will recommend this place to everyone travelling to kalpitiya.. the location n accessibility is also very good 😊..

Wir haben zum Start unserer Sri Lanka Rundreise drei wirklich wundervolle Tage im Elements Ressort bei Silvie und Marcel verbracht. Wir sind herzlich empfangen worden, das Team war freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Anlage ausgesprochen geschmackvoll, mit sehr viel Liebe in jedem Detail... Und direkt am Meer... Einfach traumhaft... Wir hätten auch 6 Sterne vergeben

We really loved it here and stayed longer than expected. beautiful extraordinary sunset views and large maintained gardens with palm trees loads of shade wooden loungers wonderful large clean swimming pool. A 20 minute walk into the nearest town or 5 minute tuktuk.. market stalls nearby. altogether a great finish to our winter sun trip. thank you.

Thanks to Jay and all his staff for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable. They were so kind and considerate; we felt totally relaxed after the first day. The food was delicious and great value for money. The rooms, swimming pool, restaurant and lounge are all beautiful and look better than the photos! Sethawadi is without doubt the best resort in this area if you are here to kitesurf or want a base to visit all the amazing sights of Sri Lanka or simply want to chill out for a couple of weeks in lovely surroundings. Kitesurfing was excellent with great access from Sethawadi as it's bang on the lagoon. The view from all rooms is delightful and looks directly onto the lagoon where fisherman still use traditional brightly painted canoes to fish. The pool is big enough for swimming lengths and we spent hours on the comfy beds surrounded by palm trees. The service at Sethawadi is exceptional, the staff just cannot do enough for you. No matter how hard I try I cant fine one thing I didnt like about the place, If we can we will definitely return next January!

Verborgen op het schiereiland Kalpitaya vind je een echt pareltje: een exclusief verblijf waar rust en luxe samensmelten. Bij aankomst lonkt een verfrissend welkomstdrankje, gevolgd door een ruime, uitnodigende kamer met grote ramen, terras, groot bed en een bad. Elke avond toont de bevlogen chef zijn vakmanschap met smaakvolle, lokale gerechten die verrassend puur blijven. Het leuke verfrissende zwembad met glijbaan en het slingerende padje naar het strand versterken het gevoel van ontdekking. Ondanks een onverharde toegangsweg en het ontbreken van een minibar(koelkast) blijft dit plekje een vondst voor wie even helemaal wil wegdromen. Een shoutout voor het personeel en hartelijk dank voor alles!

A very special and lovely property that is very unique and memorable. We stayed 3 nights, visited Wilpattu, and enjoyed the lovely service. The only drawback is the incessant mosquitoes. We were paranoid about closing doors and using sprays and mats but they were everywhere and hard to avoid. Would advise the host to fumigate frequently and replace the bed nets. One AC needs to be fixed/replaced. Other than that, a wonderful stay!

Het verblijf was echt fantastisch goed geregeld. Alle medewerkers zijn super vriendelijke en willen je overal bij helpen. Ik waande me als hun enige gast, zoveel aandacht kreeg ik. Strand is dichtbij, prachtige plek voor een zonsondergang op eerste rang. Het eten is vers en goed bereid. Genoeg ruimte om te doen wat je wilt. Aan een ieder aan te raden.

Un petit coin de paradis . Le lieux est très joli , une belle équipe, un bon chef de cuisine . Une piscine magnifique. Une sortie en Bateau réussi où nous avons vus des centaines de Dauphins . Un propriétaire très soucieux de la qualité du séjour , à l'écoute . Tout cela dans un cadre idyllique , à quelques pas de l'océan . Les chambres sont très confortables . Quel plaisir de rencontrer et de trouver des endroits qui laissent des souvenirs pleins la tête . Sans hésiter une destination qui vaut le détour ! Merci à toi Martin , et à toute l'équipe !

Mooie locatie vlak aan zee, mooi zwembad en het personeel is werkelijk waar fantastisch, zo ontzettend vriendelijk.

We had a truly superb stay, what an absolute gem of a place. The setting is magical, overlooking the lagoon, and every detail in the rooms and shared spaces is beautifully thought through and very well maintained. You can really feel the care that’s gone into it. The staff made the experience extra special: incredibly friendly, warm, and always ready to help with anything we needed. We especially looked forward to every meal, each one delicious, thanks to a fantastic cook who clearly puts heart into the food. Perfect spot to relax, swim, and disconnect from the busyness of daily life. We left feeling rested, recharged, and would love to come back sometime.
